for everybody having problems with it: here you can change it

posts per topic is not changed, but topics per forumpage are changed into 75 try delete chache and cookies and see if it works. Here its fine at least.

Correct, we disabled it because if someone posts a poll, he is obvious about OTHER peoples opinions, not his own I think you will understand. Plus if there are not many votes you can make the poll look good/bad in the way you want, and thats what we also try to avoid regards, Martin

No, we cant allow users to remove their own topics. Why? Because we have moderators for that kind of things, and we dont want to have users here telling things which are not true (if you know what i mean. First post something, remove it and then say that they never posted it) regards, Martin

As far as i can see, there is no problem with that. As long as you keep it clean (no warez), and as long as users dont sign up just to post a "review"(spam). The forums fit for that? For now the software forum will do just fine i think. If there are more people whom post reviews, we will discuss it in the crew, wether or not we make a new forum for it thanks for your suggestion, much appreciated Martin

if you only have one printer, remove it from your "printers", reboot, send/recieve emails, add your printer again should be working.

Hello nitro, First of all i would like to point out that we have a " site and forum issues " forum for this... second, this is indeed a security feature. Now you might wonder why we have it enabled... we have it enabled because we dont want anything to be screwed here. there are many good and bad points about this, but its better to be safe than sorry regards, Martin

please dont make me laugh here... you really think we still have such an old build running here on msfn...? IPB is nearly finished developing version 2.2 and we are running 2.1.x here on msfn... And another thing is... that site is using a lot of hacks... and those hacks might have exploits... So the statement that all the IPB boards are "providing" a virus to its users only applies to that site.

insert=>object=> ms excel worksheet..... copy the sheet from your excel with ctrl+a ctrl+c and paste it into the ppt excel sheet by using ctrl+v

insert=>object=>windows media player then double click (left mouse button) on the media "picture" and then the program will open a vbscript. there on the left side you can enter the url from your clip

why dont you just save the file normally and then move it to the cd with for example nero burning rom? i cant try the the function to save on cd here, but i am not exactly sure why someone might need it

hum, i disabled it because of the recent spammers using bold and capital text in their topic descriptions... however i think that valuable members shouldnt suffer under this, so i disabled it again.

the forums are sending an email to all the subscribers, once an email is outdated and the topic is still subscribed the forums will try to send an email but it cant, so xper will get an error message in his email. thats the point
