  1. You have to configure the Local Security Policy under Administrative Tools. Under Audit Policy log Sucess and/or Failure under Audit Logon Events. This sucks though. You have to then filter the events to show just a simple log on and logoff entries. A logon event is a few different entries and well as logging off. At least the last time I tried it. I wound up using Kixtart to write a script that audits to a textfile that my client can print everyweek to make timesheets for his employees. http://www.kixtart.org/ KAndle http://www.KAndleConsulting.com
  2. Go to this web site and download SpySites. This will configure IE to block alot of spy sites from loading on your computer. http://camtech2000.net/Pages/Downloads.html KAndle http://www.KAndleConsulting.com
  3. btw QoS Packet Scheduler is standard, youcan safely remove it. Odyssey Network Services is probably used through your cable connection, who do you use for cable? KAndle http://www.KAndleConsulting.com
  4. Run Windows Update and download any drivers they have available. Your wireless card may be included. Download those and any other updates you need. Next download Spybot - Search & Destroy and run that because you probably are infested with Spyware or something of that sort. Search Google or www.download.com Do you have virus protection? Go to www.trendmicro.com and run the Free Online Scan. Do these things every week. That is the difference between 98se and XP. You should maintain your pc regularly. If that doesn't work you may consider purchasing a better Wireless card that supports Wireless G so you can take better advantage of your cable modem. KAndle www.KAndleConsulting.com

  6. Check this link. Your syntax appears to be off. Look at the Office 2000 SP3 Administrative Update and see if that helps first.
