Like I do with my windows xp, when I install I remove the common user leaving only the Administrator. So, I went on "computer management" and removed the common user. I didnt delete the folder. Now I cant log in on vista. (it does not recognize the password but I didnt set any) This pc has dual boot ( XP and Vista ) so I can access vista partition but I dont know what to do. I know I cant repair but I want to know if there is a faster-simpler way. Anyone know?

When we download hotfixes and security updates, they stay in windows/software distribution/downloads. I tried to put those .exe files in my nLite cd but nLite could not recognize the hotfixes because they stay in this folder as "unzipped" files ( like getting an update file and unziping it ). Is there a way to make this work? And a fast way because after SP2 there are like 90 updates for windows.... no way download all updates one-by-one. Thanks for any help.

Well, I have used nlite since... i dont remember, 0.4? Small icons on start menu never worked for me (classic start menu) and some other small confs like no-fade menus. Looks like when I integrate drivers, windows loads much slower. Not the installer, after installation. Not complaining, just pointing out ^_^ Does have a way to transfer my confs from my windows to the installer? ( not the files and transfer from windows, this program sux =P ) Like small icons, classic start menu, etc....

Ok, I did a backup image with acronis true image and I want to cut some steps in deploying it. So here are the steps I think I have to do to deploy it: Format HD - Install WinXP - Install acronis - Deploy Image I want to: Format HD - Deploy Image Any suggestion on how I can do that? Install XP consumes so much time...

Windows accuses a incompatibility telling that it wont upgrade because a third-part program (visioneer scanner) changed the core. Well, I dont have a visioneer scanner and I dont know which program changed it. Anybody help?

Hi, I´m using the Autoruns.exe from sysinternals ( http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/autoruns.shtml) and I would like to know which dLLs I can remove or what each of those dlls do. Does anyone have a list of each dll function?

I hate this "my" folders (my ebooks, my images, my f* etc) so I deleted them but they come back... how can I block de re-creation?
