  1. In your advanced tcp ip properties there is a tcp ip filter tab. Use that if you can't block it out with a firewall.
  2. Have you tried openoffice? It's free from Sun. It's a huge download.
  3. Have you tried to go into your display control panel? Have you tried running an av scan? How about a lavasoft and adawre scan? All with the latets updates?

  5. Zxian would it be passable to sub divide these out? We could have sepete topics in the part of the forum which would make it eeasier to navigate. Most days I get around 2 pages of questions.

  10. No detection at all. I was told that a cable on the insode the case was 1 pin off from the mobo to the front usb and that might have zapped them. Is this possable?
  11. My boss wanted me to check on something odd. We just biult some new systems and he thought the usb ports were bad. He tried to use his san disk usb flash ram in the computers and they din;t detect. He has 3. He tried other devices and they worked. So I checked out 1 of them on 3 different systems and I got no response. Coudl he have somehow zapped them? Other devices did work. The frony usb was off maybe beacuse, the insternal back to front usb cable was reversed. Any thoghts?

  14. Could I hook a computer minot into the xmos somehow? Would that get good graphics?
  15. TY I have mine onboard the mobo. If I use xp pro sp2 or even home sp2 will the drivers already be there? We have no floppy disks.

  17. If I do a mirror from scratch windows will just install normal correct? If Someone already has a system with xp they can't just do a hardware mirror? Am I right about these? I am gettiung boards with mirroring on them biult in sata.
  18. I have this problem to but, even when I click the box the stting toggles back later. This occurs in user and adminmodes. Any ideas?
  19. I saw reerences to this on google somone had a WD HD and this file was asked for, Have you tried yuour xp cd? How about your i386 folder? Can you delete out device manger the old entried for this adapter anbd try again?
