Have you tried the fiull version? The full version of the fuile is not supposed to ask for the cd. Only the quick one does. You could also do a special admin update.

I would backup the registru and delete the references to these files. See if that works. You could also email the company support and ask for a cleaner. How about a sys restore?

Have you tried the regional options?

I put zone alarm for Zone Labs INtegrity Dtop.

In device manger details tab they will list the drivers files. I would uninstall from the device managerr then delete the files. Have you tried that?

Does it do this with all fonts? It could be your monitor seetings or font. Have you checked your font properties. Do other text progrmas do this wordpad???

I use Firefix 1.07 Sometimes for no reason when I click in the boxes and start typing nothing happens. This has been happening for about a week or 2. What coudl the problem be? It coud be a bad floppy drive. The floppy cable could be in wrong or it could be bad. Check your event logs and also check your bios. Try to boot from it by using a test floppy from bootdisk.com

I would give atm a try. That might work. But I am not to sure. I used it years ago on a mac. It's www.adobe.com click the downloads section. Whata re your system specs? I might have something better you can use thatn old office 97 like something from Sun.

Have you tried any file recovvery software? Like Norton unerase or something off of cnet. Let m,e know if you need something.

Some bioses don't allow you to change that. But the crc error is bad.. It';s a data comapre error. I would run a surface scan on my HD as well as the mem test.

Is there any way to copy wreless net settings to a usb device or cd. I want to copy all net settings including spa key. This makes it easier for me. The systems would all be windows xp sp2.
