  1. pagefile should not be disabled regardless the amount of RAM available I'm not sure what got you thinking otherwise with only 4GB of RAM....
  2. next 2 years... this indicates that Supermium 121 browser is likely to reach the next decade 2030 https://msfn.org/board/topic/184515-arcticfoxienotheretoplaygames-360chrome-v1351030-rebuild-8/?do=findComment&comment=1242523
  3. most if not all of my extensions already have a MV3 type variant or I can easily spot a good alternative. although I can't tell if ublock MV3 will work over time as well as the MV2 type variant.
  4. if it's a core 2 duo (2007) it should run with no issues but do not expect the same performance as a core 2 quad for a 2024 browser build https://msfn.org/board/topic/184363-release-vistart-v815258-start-menu-replacement-for-xp-10/page/2/#comment-1239213 --single-process

  7. another A.H. reddit is full of them unfortunately DyceFreak- '''most people's XP machines are 99% offline machines''' https://www.reddit.com/r/windowsxp/comments/1ajcbwu/the_best_browser_that_its_still_usable_in_2024/
  8. the dark mode is as much bad for your sight health as switching off your ceilling light bulb #facts
  9. Nobody found a workaround back in the day so I only check over this site with Win7 or even better my phone
  10. I thought you were disscussing about the fonts rendering. I couldn't notice any ''ugly, thick, red, blurry areals''...
  11. definitely you need to pay a visit to the ophthalmologist.... Brave background is a little bit darker, other than this the fonts on either of them are equally blurry but that could be due to the screenshot quality and there's no difference to me brightness wise. just my 0.2
  12. I didn't know the GTX Titan required a modded driver @66cats
  13. I can assure you that Supermium 117 on Win7 x64 can also open 100 tabs at a time without hang-ups. some picky persons do not even support the browser developement with $ $ $
  14. one of the several reasons why I don't like W7 at all.... https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-manually-arrange-folders-in-windows-7/91d630f0-c18d-4eaa-889b-e0ecaffa5a94 is there a good file manager out there similar or with the simplicity of the XP built-in one ???
  15. I couldn't find any visual theme for Supermium 121 akin to this one. https://msfn.org/board/topic/184266-arcticfoxienotheretoplaygames-360chrome-v1351030-rebuild-7/?do=findComment&comment=1239611 all of the ''classic'' style themes available in the chrome web store look awful to my eyes.
  16. just about 500 MB (zero extensions). I removed the user data folder and started from scratch just in case.
  17. I tried this myself on both Supermium 121 1st release and the hot-fix release. I restared the computer just in case but the memory usage is still the same
  18. that trick does nothing for me in fact win32 fixed the rebased dll from this link https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/files/14129613/rebased_dlls.zip anyway the map issues have nothing to do with RAM usage...
  19. Xean processors don't fully support hardware acceleration
  20. https://msfn.org/board/topic/185045-supermium/?do=findComment&comment=1259507
  21. I performed the test on two different computers (AMD quads) and yet it flows better under 360chrome when scrolling, draging the Rover's camera I didn't try it on Haswell CPU though....
  22. this map loads fast enough on 360chrome however it's almost unusable with Supermium 121... can you confirm this ? https://www.360cities.net/image/mars-panorama-perseverance-rover-martian-solar-day-0965 I don't expect it to run as smooth as it does with Win7 of course
