It works properly in Alpha 2r, it is broken in Alpha 2ah which is the latest.

Perks are basically dynamic transparency, segmented, centered taskbar etc. You may have actually found a bug. Maybe share a screen recording of that, You may have to link to cloud storage because MSFN has a tiny upload limit.

The classic taskbar is removed in Dev... it's only a matter of time until that trickles into release preview and then retail. My advice is stay on 23H2 or use T2.

Found a bug! Right click on the clock Click Adjust Date/Time Settings will open to System -> Notifications not Time and Language -> Date and Time Running Alpha 2ah on 26100.1150.

I would say that is probably low on the priority list. I would imagine feature parity will come before full support for custom themes. I suggest you stay on 23H2 as long as you can because 24H2 will launch with the legacy taskbar code removed.

You are correct, it has been removed from .1252, explorer.exe is significantly reduced in size. I suggest using T2, unless you need autohide it's very stable and almost feature complete. Autohide is now supported.

It's the taskbar skin. Not the flyout style. You have it on Plain 8. That's what it looks like. Change it to the default one. That functionality has been removed by Microsoft. Copilot is a PWA with no system integration anymore not a flyout.

Just installed Alpha 2r. I noticed that when moving the taskbar to the right and then the top there is an extra gap between the start icon and the task buttons until explorer is restarted. It almost looks like the gap that is added for touch mode. In this build the start button stayed in its location. Also in playing with the location of the taskbar I managed to have one time where the task buttons disappeared until I moved it to another location, in that situation the start button and system tray were still present.

Yup. I tested on Win 11 Pro 26244 and it works. This is the real deal. A faithful reimplementation, there's only one guy on the planet with the skills to reverse engineer this. Thank you @Tihiy.

I just moved my taskbar to the top of the screen and got this little glitch for a moment with the start button. It returned back to the left after a moment. However when it returned it kept a large gap. Edit: Moved it back to the bottom and the start button is totally gone. I can't attach the screenshot because I'm out of space on MSFN but picture a large gap, I hover my mouse over it and it comes back.

He didn't comment because it was a Microsoft issue. Install 26100.994. It's resolved. I had to switch from IoT Enterprise LTSC to Pro because of issues with the Surface app not properly working so I've only tested on Pro.

For some reason T2 Alpha 1 wants to auto update to 3.7.10. I didn't realize for a while I wasn't testing the Alpha because SAB replaced it with 3.7.10.

The tabs in the file Properties dialog are broken in SmartFTP with Dark Magic enabled. I connected to a remote FTP site, right clicked a file and clicked properties. They've also paused the 24H2 rollout in release preview. There's a lot that's broken or off in 26100 right now, it'll stabilize soon because the new Copilot+PCs are shipping soon and will be running 26100 out of the box. MS has a lot riding on these.

Hey @Tihiy, I saw a few new releases have been pushed including one on Sunday of last week looking at the code signing date. Has anything of note been added? I can't seem to spot the differences in the checklist. Regardless I've been running T2 on Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 since you've released it and I have not one complaint or regression I've spotted. It's been rock solid.
