The general tricks no longer work, with DSE Patcher and pressing F8 for the advanced start menu, it just reboots but doesn't disable DSE. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Try these, Also check you are using an SSD, some manufactures still cheap out on giving you an HD instead.

This explains the problem but maybe someone has a solution. Instead of the explorer searchbar using windows search, is there a way to force it to use everything search instead?

I know this thread is 13 years old but hey, if your offer is still open, maybe you could patch the files from win11? One is from the system32 folder, the other os from the Wow64. Thanks in advance sfc win11 unpatched.zip

I know this topic is a decade old, but truth never stops so I figured I'd comment :) To be honest, the only way I've found is to shutdown your system, boot in a linux distro and delete all those files manually, unless one can make a script to do it. (I'm, not that talented yet lol)
