  2. All u need is HERE ps: however i have problems with %tmp% %temp% under my cleanup.cmd. DEL /S /Q "%TMP%\*" is NOT working
  3. Well i dont see which updates are installed in add/remove progs with the SVCPACK.INF method... :/ But i prefer this method. It s easier to maintain than integrating all hotfixes (with nlite for ex.)

  7. One question concerning hotfixes : When do u use SVCPACK.INF Method or Nlite , do u still see which hotfixes are installed under "add / remove programs" ? I've tried nlite, but i don't see anything under "add/remove programs" after integrating hotfixes. thx

  14. 1.1.4 works fine... However it registers file association only for the current user.... :/ edit: use setup -alluser for a multiusers install on same machine.
  15. hello I have some curent user reg tweaks and i need them for all users... I ve read that i can use cmdlines for that. In my cmdlines can i have : [COMMANDS] "REGEDIT /S mytweaks.reg" // patching registry "RunOnceEx.cmd" //installing software The tweaks in mytweaks.reg are targeting software that i install in runonceex... so can it work ? thx
  16. Thx ! It works !! I need the same reg tweaks with thunderbird and i'm done .
  17. Here is my runonceex : Here .Jar .xpi file association is correctly set, i ve just tried it. Icons are put correctly.... I'm quite sure it s because i use a french version of ff /xp...
  18. Ok ive tried the tutorial and it seems to work fine on an french version However i have 2 questions : - Even after installing "Firefox Installation Settings" with runonceex, the first time i lauch firefox it still asks me if firefox should be the default browser... Is this normal ? - Can i create a firefox.cmd with "Firefox Installation Settings" in it and lauch it from the runonceex.cmd ? For example something like this : REG ADD %KEY%\015 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\install\firefox.cmd" /f thx a lot
  19. OK i just tried the trick on a french version of xp and firefox/thunderbird. The icons are correctly put at the top of the start menu, HOWEVER, firefox is still not the default brower !! When i launch it, it still asks me if firefox should be the default browser Same with thunder. I use a SFX archive (Setup=setup.exe -ira) with the setup.exe from mozilla, for firefox and thunderbird. Default install. Here is my .reg + runonceex Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 ;Set the Start Menu sticky apps [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Clients\mail] @="Mozilla Thunderbird" ;---- AND now for browser [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Clients\StartMenuInternet] @="firefox.exe" RUNONCE : /..../ REG ADD %KEY%\020 /VE /D "Firefox" /f REG ADD %KEY%\020 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\install\firefox\firefox_1.0.exe" /f REG ADD %KEY%\025 /VE /D "Thunderbird" /f REG ADD %KEY%\025 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\install\thunderbird\thunderbird.exe" /f REG ADD %KEY%\025 /V 2 /D "rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 128 %systemdrive%\install\firefox\mozilla.inf" /f REG ADD %KEY%\025 /V 3 /D "REGEDIT /S %systemdrive%\install\firefox\firefox.reg" /f /.../ Any idea ? thx a lot
  20. i ll give it a try i hope it works for a non us install .
  21. how to use the Firefox Installation Settings ? Is it a reg file, batch file ? I want to use it for a silent install of xp. thx
  22. Well i don't understant the use of the vbs file... If an user launchs firefox, its profile will be created automatically in the %username%/application date/mozilla/firefox directory. If u use a roaming profile, i think there is no need for this file. User's profile (including the app data dir.) is downloaded from server when the user login and uploaded to server at logoff. And btw if u want a default settings, u can use the defaults/profile/prefs.js. Am i wrong or
  23. And how to do for the french version ? I only need the basic installation (no plugin, just flash maybe) thx
