My Browser Builds (Part 2)
Montana Slim replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
I was wondering... what is the unique ID for both mailnews and icedove to convert older Thunderbird add-ons (if you open up the .xpi files)? The three addons I use get rejected: Auto Select Latest Message, CompactHeader, and Contacts Sidebar. These all work fine with Thunderbird 52.... Halfway back in this thread the unique hex code for IceApe was revealed... so I figured there was one for these email apps too. Thanks in advance... -

Files don't exist. But if you change 27.9.7 to 27.10.0 (like you said in a previous post) all is OK. -

"I just wanted to report, that somewhere in the last 48 hours, Reddit appears to have partially broken on all XP browsers, including New Moon, MayPal and Chromium ports. It seems several smaller functions don't work anymore, but the most prominent thing is that new posts don't get dynamically shown when scrolling down anymore. The amount of posts the user can see seems to depend on the viewport, or rather on the vertical resolution." Did you try switching the url to old.reddit.com ? For instance, instead of https://www.reddit.com/r/windowsxp ....use: https://old.reddit.com/r/windowsxp -

While Roytam is off doing other things... to get the correct files all you have to do is navigate to... https://o.rths.ml/boc-uxp/ In the case of IceApe, it looks like the changes were just to code libraries. -

Looks like the March 21st release of Basilisk 52 is the last one to work with that preference tab. -

It'd be fantastic if Roytam would build newer versions of SeaMonkey 2.49.5 like: https://www.wg9s.com/comm-esr/ Was doing a while back. -
Annoying big-tech webmasters everywhere... that 1 percent of the 1 precent still using a Basilisk/PaleMoon/Firefox fork on Windows XP called: "Ludditious" This is tongue-in-cheek, folks... Ludditious is delicious... and it's good for you too!
