  1. So , a lot do use and view INSTAGRAM websites ... I recommend to look at the online PIKDO Instagram Viewer ... Has been active for over one year now , some IG Viewers do disappear ... Also , PIKDO gets FIXED when IG Official does change their API ... And PIKDO is fairly timely on doing their IG API fixes too ... https://www.instagram.com/taylorswift/ https://pikdo.biz/search/ Search = "taylorswift" https://pikdo.biz/u/taylorswift/11830955 (Listed at PIKDO top , Taylor Swift official instagram) So , open the above URL , Scroll Down , find this particular photo ... Looks like 2 People Inside a Fishbowl = IG VIDEO file So , open that Fishbowl URL (below) ... https://pikdo.biz/p/taylorswift/2117737713641639277_11830955 For me , above URL does FAIL to load properly to PLAY the IG VIDEO ... BUT , if you RIGHT CLICK in the FAIL VIDEO window ... Then chose (menu) VIEW VIDEO (or like that) , it reloads and PLAYS then ... (Note: Here , FAIL happens on RT BNAV Browser , RT ST55 Browser = No Problem) So , for INSTAGRAM , PIKDO is a fairly good work around VIEWER on it. Seems no harm to post this here , as fall back idea for INSTAGRAM.
  2. (MAT) Mat A Tobin (PALEMOON affiliated programmer = Borealis Browser , more) is now supposedly supporting to contribute to BRANDING activity with regard to RT's Browsers (WinXP OS). But to be certain , for MAT , the goal is also to minimize annoyance to MAT (PALEMOON) too. Which actually , Mathwiz did PULLS to fix the HELP URLs active in the RT Browsers , to aim at RT websites. That was done via no prompting from MAT either. So , not sure what that means for MAT or PALEMOON. But , Mathwiz sees an upside to working with MAT on BRANDING of RT's Browsers , same here. As to IF that anything will actually come of it (RT BRANDING and MAT) , not sure. But at least there is a notion to listen to MAT. Rather than to freeze out MAT over past friction events. As to "flip-flopping" or even trolling (?) behavior based on "bugs me" , actually FINE here. JT replied below --> "Matt's co-operation with the crew here is tremendous." ... NOT quite sure what "crew" that you mean it. And RT (himself) seems somewhat underwhelmed by BRANDING notions , but okay. JT replied below --> "I just hate when people are disingenuous in any manner." ... The INTERNET is a big place.
  3. However , NOW , with 'Mathwiz' tweak , the ADOBE PRIMETIME CDM 'Plugin' install *DOES* solve the problem. See My Summary Message at URL here --> https://msfn.org/board/topic/180462-my-browser-builds-part-2/page/52/?tab=comments#comment-1176791 But I believe that 'VistaLover' said recently that there is NOT presently any plan for RT to modify his custom *.DLL files to solve the (Video) TWITTER AUDIO DISTORTION with WinXP OS problem. So , the only solution requires the ADOBE PRIMETIME CDM 'Plugin' to be installed and used. With RT ST55 Browser (Moebius) , the ADOBE PRIMETIME CDM 'Plugin' install does also solve the problem of INSTAGRAM embedded VIDEO to play properly. Added: I noted feedback (messages below) that my writing style is annoying to some. So , I will ... try to comply here on that as suggested. But , it is 'Only' a *KEYBOARD* , right ??? ...
  4. The following is a summary of solving (Video) TWITTER AUDIO DISTORTION with WinXP OS. http://o.rths.ml/basilisk/ Using RT ST55 Moebius Browser (not ST52) , I did these three URL fixes below. And (Video) TWITTER AUDIO DISTORTION solved , with Old Twitter Interface , under WinXP OS. https://msfn.org/board/topic/177125-my-build-of-new-moon-temp-name-aka-pale-moon-fork-targetting-xp/page/184/?tab=comments#comment-1170340 (1) ADOBE PRIMETIME CDM Plugin Install Instructions from VistaLover https://msfn.org/board/topic/180462-my-browser-builds-part-2/page/50/?tab=comments#comment-1176700 (2) SSUAO (User Agent) fix from RT , (about:config) https://msfn.org/board/topic/180462-my-browser-builds-part-2/page/51/?tab=comments#comment-1176768 (3) AV Tweak (Step 2) from Mathwiz , (about:config) THANKS to Mathwiz for his last tweak needed solution. This final solution for TWITTER AUDIO DISTORTION should make VistaLover happy. And THANKS to RT as always.
  5. Added Later --> https://msfn.org/board/topic/180462-my-browser-builds-part-2/page/52/?tab=comments#comment-1176791 URL above is Summary Message of how to *solve* the (Video) TWITTER AUDIO DISTORTION problem. And also using the Old Twitter Interface under WinXP OS.
  6. https://www.theverge.com/2019/7/26/8930770/how-to-old-twitter-web-interface-design-desktop-ui At URL ARTICLE above , they suggest a UA String for OLD TWITTER INTERFACE --> Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Trident/7.0; rv:11.0) like Gecko Added Later --> https://msfn.org/board/topic/180462-my-browser-builds-part-2/page/52/?tab=comments#comment-1176791 URL above is Summary Message of how to *solve* the (Video) TWITTER AUDIO DISTORTION problem. And also using the Old Twitter Interface under WinXP OS.
  7. "RFox MAILNOVA" = RT MailNews Emailer "RFox AURA" = RT BNAV Browser "RFox ELARA" = RT ST55 Browser "RFox CRESCENT" = RT ST52 Browser "RFox CORDELIA" = RT NM28 Browser "RFox IO" = RT AF27 Browser "RFox RIGEL" = RT KM76 Goanna Browser I found another 'hit' for a Browser named 'ECLIPSE' , so I backed off on that name. Also , same problem on 'AURORA' name , so changed to 'AURA' which seems good enough. These names are all somewhat 'Celestial' if you will. 'ELARA' , 'CRESCENT' , 'CORDELIA' , 'IO' have a 'MOON' connection. This above would be my latest list , NOT sure if there are other (more) RT Browsers ??? So , the 'RFox Family' of RT Browsers and Emailers.
  8. @dencorso --> "SNAKE OIL 2020" <-- I refuse to (Write In) VOTE for YOU as USA PRESIDENT (residing in BRAZIL). You need to 'come up' with a better 'hype' if you want MY VOTE !!! ... ... @Mathwiz As observation , do NOT think that a lot of RT Browser users much know or care just what "SSE" is from a 'technical' CPU perspective. More likely , my guess , they try an RT Browser because it MIGHT work on WinXP OS , and they need that. Again , I like "RFox" (Roytam + FireFox) better for the RT Browser prefix. And again , IF that 'Mathwiz' and 'Matt A Tobin' can agree on some names , I would likely have no problem with it. "RFox MAILNOVA" = RT MailNews Emailer "RFox AURA" = RT BNAV Browser "RFox ELARA" = RT ST55 Browser "RFox CRESCENT" = RT ST52 Browser "RFox CORDELIA" = RT NM28 Browser "RFox IO" = RT AF27 Browser "RFox RIGEL" = RT KM76 Goanna Browser The words ELARA , CRESCENT , CORDELIA , IO have a 'Moon' meaning connection. But not seeing that this would create a problem for PALE MOON ('Matt A Tobin'). The words AURA , RIGEL , NOVA (eMailer) have a 'Celestial' type meaning. But I would let 'Matt A Tobin' have strong input on IF that he sees some kind of problem with PALE MOON and RT Browsers with 'Celestial' names.
  9. Good that you are healthy again , returned here , and did post. I'll try saying this , and you can comment IF you choose. I only speak for me , but what I will say it is hopefully accurate enough and useful to you. Awhile back here (MSFN site) , I was chattering that RT's Browsers at INSTALL and via the HELP MENUs , did AIM at URLs that were (are) PALEMOON (YOU) rather than at MSFN website or RT websites (download). So , @Mathwiz did agree with that , and then initiated PULLS via RT (RoyTam) to FIX the URLs to aim at MSFN and RT websites when HELP MENU choices were activated inside the RT Browsers. So , there is actually that 'history' of doing something with the notion of making things LESS ANNOYING for PALEMOON (YOU). NO IDEA here IF that 'MATHWIZ' wants to be like 'Point Man' for RT on this BRANDING issues situation. But IF that 'MATHWIZ' wants to do that , it would be my preference and suggestion for you. I do NOT like much the idea of VOTING with regard to BRANDING issues. It has a feel for me of 'too many cooks' creating 'bad broth' somehow. Maybe YOU and 'MATHWIZ' could exchange some PRIVATE MESSAGES via MSFN here , and see how it goes for both of you ??? Again , NOT sure if that 'MATHWIZ' wants this either. 'MATHWIZ' can always say 'no' if he chooses. I really do not care much how the RT Browsers might be named. But 'MATHWIZ' has stated , and I think most here realize it , that there could be benefits to BRANDING of RT's Browsers. But also , as observation , I have WONDERED if that BRANDING is going to LESSEN that much the ANNOYING QUESTIONS that might get 'aimed' at YOU about RT's Browsers 'inadvertently' by USERS. I have WONDERED if that a different HOSTING DOWNLOAD SITE for RT's Browsers is more the 'solution' if you will. Where the RT DOWNLOAD website(s) do make more clear (at download) just WHERE (URL) that SUPPORT QUESTIONS are to be aimed there. And also , it is made CLEAR that RT's Browsers are NOT somehow with PALEMOON (YOU) in a USER SUPPORT sense. Maybe that ALL does 'fall under' BRANDING aspects. 'MATHWIZ' was commenting of RT , that he seems to just want to 'roll with the punches' of possible BRANDING notions. And then 'figure' for himself if that he (RT) can 'live with it' (BRANDING) overall. So okay , enough from me for now.
  10. (Content Removed , Nothing of RT Browser value either)
  11. 'VistaLover' has a fairly valid viewpoint , IF expressed in a somewhat 'not quite friendly' manner. Your messages here in this THREAD sometimes do give the impression that RT has NOTHING else to do with his TIME than 'fine tune to perfection' the BROWSERS that he compiles and provides them FREE here. RT is NOT getting PAID MONEY to provide these RT BROWSERS , 'we' are CLEAR on this , right ??? ... It seems as though you 'show up' repetitively with a 'Laundry List' of 'Flaws' that you proudly discovered them. And somehow , RT is supposed to say like 'how high can I jump' while fixing them ??? ... Maybe my impression is not quite fair , but as *suggestion* , maybe you could 'tone it down' a notch or two ...
  12. Just posting this REPLY on basis of more clarity for others , I realize that YOU ('msfntor') know this. With RT BNAV Borealis Browser EXTENSIONS (like maybe uBLOCK Origin) , you need to add this to the INSTALL.RDF file and 'nest' (locate) it properly: <!-- RT BNAV Borealis Navigator XP --> <em:targetApplication> <Description> <em:id>{a3210b97-8e8a-4737-9aa0-aa0e607640b9}</em:id> <em:minVersion>0.1.0a1</em:minVersion> <em:maxVersion>*</em:maxVersion> </Description> </em:targetApplication> The "0.1.0a1" moves the 'minVersion' setting to a very low one , which allows the 'install' to happen okay. The *.xpi EXTENSIONS are 'ZIP' compressed files , so use (free) 7-ZIP software to access the INSTALL.RDF file. https://o.rths.ml/boc-uxp/ RT BNAV Borealis Browser (RT URL above) is SEAMONKEY based , and is also ENGLISH Language Only. This 'Foxy-Proxy' EXTENSION (file name below , at RT URL above) solves PROXY SERVER / PORT situations: foxyproxy_standard-4.6.5-pm.xpi Those PROXY SERVER settings are normally 'internal settings' with most Browsers , but NOT that way with RT BNAV Borealis Browser. https://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/ SeaMonkey 2.49.5 does support Windows XP OS and also Language Packs (Released 2019.09.04)
  13. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Microsoft_codenames At above URL , these names (below) seemed good enough --> AURORA , JANUS , IMPALA , NEPTUNE , TRITON , WHISTLER ... MANTIS , LONESTAR , BOBCAT , COUGAR , CENTRO ... (Note: I stayed away from CITIES as names , but just me on that notion) So , like "RFox WHISTLER 28.9" could be 'BRANDING' for RT NewMoon28 Browser. You could 'shorthand' reference as "RFW28.9" in messages. I guess 'we' need to make a LIST of ALL the RT Browsers ... I say let 'Mathwiz' assign the names to the RT Browsers.
  14. Actually, RT (himself) has already stated that he will 'go along' with most any BRANDING that might satisfy 'Matt A. Tobin' -- so that Mr. Tobin feels less 'annoyed' by 'RT Browser' user questions. I suggested that 'Mathwiz' work with Mr. Tobin to try and reach some kind of BRANDING agreement that RT seems 'okay' with it. 'Mathwiz' has stated that since Mr. Tobin wants to do a LOT of the BRANDING work for RT, then RT should take advantage of that. Which, that seems logical to me. 'Mathwiz' did already do 'PULLS' on the RT Browsers to make the HELP Menu URLs to 'aim' at more proper RT Browser based 'destinations' -- as opposed to PALE MOON websites. I can actually understand Mr. Tobin NOT wanting to get questions about RT's Browsers, IF possible. So, to keep that to a MINIMUM via proper BRANDING of RT's Browsers. As to IF that 'Mathwiz' and Mr. Tobin have the TIME and ENERGY to want to make that happen, I have NO IDEA here. Mr. Tobin is the one who has 'typed a LOT of words' here (MSFN) about wanting to do BRANDING assistance for RT's Browsers. Personally, I thought that fixing the HELP Menu URLs with RT's Browsers was a LOT of what could be done to MINIMIZE annoying the PALE MOON website with questions from RT Browser users who do NOT realize that MSFN and RT are the ones handling these 'Forked' Browsers. I felt 'complimented' by 'Mathwiz' -- when he 'backed up' my viewpoint that the HELP Menu URLs for RT's Browsers could and should be FIXED as best as possible. And then 'Mathwiz' did the PULLS needed on that. I think that it made the RT Browser situation considerably BETTER in terms of 'negative impact' on PALE MOON websites. But also, again, I have NO PROBLEM if that Mr. Tobin wants to 'grind through' working on a BRANDING situation for RT's Browsers. RT is more 'along for the ride' on this (BRANDING issues). As RT said, he just plans to continue to COMPILE and POST (for free download) his RT Browsers as he sees fit. The other aspect, with RT, is that he resides in HONG KONG. So, RT has 'personal life' time demands that are 'complex' due to the POLITICAL situation in HONG KONG. And RT has already stated that he does NOT really want to get involved in BRANDING aspects. For RT, IF that some kind of BRANDING can be done, to make Mr. Tobin more 'happy' somehow, then 'fine' with RT. But RT does NOT want to get heavily involved in BRANDING activity on a PERSONAL basis. Which, I can definitely follow that LOGIC on RT's part. So, IF that say 'Mathwiz' wants to work with Mr. Tobin to agree on some BRANDING aspects, FINE with me. But actually, my view is that FIXING the URLs with the RT Browser HELP MENUS (to 'point' at RT websites and MSFN here) was maybe the most important thing to do it. BRANDING would be 'additional' activity that would be 'nice' to have it though (my view). Okay, I typed all this, and did NOT mean to offend anyone on MSFN. Others who see the situation differently can surely say so, HOPEFULLY without any 'name calling' involved. The RT Browser MSFN Users that I do DEFER to them as more expert than me, would be 'Mathwiz' ; 'VistaLover' ; 'Dencorso' (and a couple others). Mr. Tobin has NOT posted here lately. So, I suppose it is POSSIBLE that maybe Mr. Tobin's TIME to 'donate' for RT BRANDING issues has changed too. NO IDEA here on that either. But again, here, I do follow the LOGIC of RT choosing to NOT get 'heavily involved' in BRANDING issues for his RT Browsers.
  15. Yes, "RFox" used in this 'prefix' style manner followed by a 'version number' has a lot of logic. R = RoyTam , Fox = FireFox (Fork) ... Even "RFox BNAV" is easy enough to type it. (As humor) Again, "MOONBEAM" is OUT though.
  16. Those who are suggesting "RoyFox" <-- That would be used as a PREFIX for an ADDITIONAL Browser name ??? Like say "RoyFox 52" maybe ??? ... And then say RT BNAV Browser is say "RoyFox Navigator" ??? Maybe I am confused as to the strategy of how the "RoyFox" will be used in RT BRANDING ???
  17. HONG KONG (RT lives there) -- Where SANTA is a PROTESTER !!! ... https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-50907477
  18. (As humor) NO, naming an RT Browser after JERRY BROWN Jr. (Governor MOONBEAM of California) is out. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Brown
  19. Yes , this "RoyFox" strategy used as "RoyFox Whistler" (say) is the best choice (my view), agreed. Also, stay with short, easy-to-spell ENGLISH Language reference names, like WHISTLER, NEPTUNE. Even "ACHILLES" would be okay. @VistaLover might support that. Naming it as "RT*Whistler" might work as official name, using an 'asterisk' is somewhat trendy. You could then 'shorthand' refer to it as the RTW Bro wser. So have every RT Browser use a name that begins with a *different* letter of the alphabet. So, RT*Achilles , RT*Babylon , RT*Cyclops ... You could then refer to them as RTA , RTB , RTC , as 'short' names. Say that "Neptune" is the name for RT NewMoon28 Browser. So, the full BRANDING name is "RT*Neptune" Browser ... Then you can 'short name' it like 'RTN28' (drop the 'asterisk' if desired) in Message References on MSFN here. So, 'Matt A. Tobin' Browser (BOC) has been RT named as BNavigator ... So, use the FULL BRANDING name as "RT*BNavigator" ... And you can 'short name' it as "RTBNav" or even "RTBN" for referencing in Messages purposes ... Again, the 'key' being to have it that ALL the RT Browsers have a *unique* LETTER after the ASTERISK. Which, RT himself has been using "RT" in his websites and what all. So, " RT* " is the PREFIX for ALL the RT Browsers. "RoyFox" used as a PREFIX on ALL the RT Browsers, fine with that here. That could be shortened to "RF" ... So, "RF*Neptune" (using 'asterisk' again). Noticing that RT 'Joke Browser Name' suggestions are now very common here, no surprise. Anyway, whatever 'Mathwiz' likes it, I will guess that I can accept it with no problem.
  20. @Matt A. Tobin , @Mathwiz , @dencorso , RT (obviously) @VistaLover = Special Consultant (because not 'Branding' oriented) I would suggest the above 'team' to work with Matt A. Tobin on BRANDING (RT). With 'Mathwiz' being the 'main interface' with Matt A. Tobin. 'Mathwiz' did the 'PULLS' for RT Browser 'HELP Menus' to annoy Mr. Tobin LESS. I do not see Matt A. Tobin as say: "The Enemy of 'Old Boys' Who Insistent on using Windows XP OS" Let 'us' (RT) move toward Matt A. Tobin, rather than away from him. Added Later: I realize not everyone sees this as I do, but my viewpoint remains as expressed above here. So, not likely to change my viewpoint as expressed this message. I do not see any 'downside' to letting 'Mathwiz' and 'dencorso' see if they can improve matters via working with 'Matt A. Tobin' on BRANDING. RT seems open to this on the basis that as long as RT can keep compiling his RT Browsers with no problem, then okay enough for RT. 'Mathwiz' did already make things better via doing 'PULLS' to change the RT Browser HELP menus to aim at more appropriate URLs (links).
  21. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan_Bingbing FAN BINGBING is a New FAN of You -- She will email her 'thanks' soon enough! Added Later: Want to say THANKS for the amount of effort that You (VL) and 'Mathwiz' have done it here (RT Browser thread) to assist others. As for RT, the Browser support level that he offers it here, is of an amazingly high quality. Seems good place to say that, this message.
  22. @VistaLover , @Mathwiz , and RT <-- Thanks for HELP offered here. https://msfn.org/board/topic/178259-instagram-videos-not-working-in-firefox-52-esr/?do=findComment&comment=1172626 Fairly recently, 'Mathwiz' helped me get (MP4) INSTAGRAM Video working with (BK)ST-55 Browser under WinXP. I am using the ADOBE PRIMETIME Plugin solution install manner, which 'VistaLover' did pioneer that. So, 'Mathwiz' did post a resulting SUMMARY message entry at URL above, and I draw worthy attention to that.
  23. https://www.vpnmentor.com/blog/tor-browser-work-relate-using-vpn/ You could consider the free TOR Privacy Service (URL above). NOT personally recommending TOR to you either. If YOU test and like TOR Service, fine, if not, fine too. Apparently, TOR does SLOW considerably your Internet Connection speed performance. And no, not willing to test anything here, related to (TOR) VPN type services. With FOXYPROXY Extension, YOU can input 'ANONYMOUS' PROXY SERVERS yourself. The problem is to find 'ANONYMOUS' PROXY SERVERS that are 'free' for usage. This would complete any help that I might offer you on IP Privacy issues, which is not much. And, as always, GOOGLE (Search) is your friend.
  24. (Click Here) Dutch Boy and the Dike (story) Perhaps you have not enough fingers for Privacy Dike Plugging? Actually, no idea much here on 'IP Privacy' issues. Maybe a PAY ($$$) VPN Service would work for you? (Click Here) Project ECHELON Besides, they know about you anyway!
