The saddest thing is I'm only running two extensions, UBlock and Disconnect, and it's nearly impossible to surf without them.

Mine is still botched. Except that I don't have 52.9.1... I have 52.9.0. Is this the reason and why was I not updated?

I have been using 44 and 49 and they are both installed. Only 22.0.0.209 is recognized on either. Still can't get either Chrome or Firefox to recognize the update. Only Windows Control Panel indicates it's installed. The old Firefox plugin is completely gone. The following probably partly explains why this didn't work: I can't find the folders you've indicated should be there. The post-install folders on my XP Pro, SP3 are very similar to the ones on your page but not quite the same. Like minus a sub-folder or two, for instance. This folder and file are there: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash folder. Right-click on the file called pepflashplayer32_31_0_0_122.dll" This "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\49.0.2623.112\PepperFlash" is missing. I got "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application" and dropped in the pepflashplayer.dll and manifest.json . Hi, I stumbled onto your page regarding updating Flash for Chrome with WinXp and followed the step-by-step instructions, attempting an upgrade from 11.2.202.235. In the Flash Player Settings Manager, it now says "The settings on this page are not applicable to Google Chrome or chromium-based browsers (PPAPI)" and I'm not getting the 'version image' from the page, http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/about/. Sadly, am not seeing an improvement over 11.2. I tried to update it about 7 years ago and the newer version was slow to the point of uselessness. So, here's me, stepping out again. Also, I have both 44 and 49 versions of chrome installed. Should I use the NPAPI or PPAPI? The folders you mention here (http://sdfox7.com/chromexp3.htm) are spelled slightly differently in my SP3. That's what it was. I corrected by re-enabling PCDM and OpenH264. I had them turned off to get a specific site to use Flash instead. Strange thing is before 52.1.1, Flash would play the site links that I'm now using PCDM for. I can't think of any other reason why that would happen except for the browser upgrade. Keep in mind, I am a new PCDM user and always used Flash before, uh, well, May. So what's up with Flash?

Hi, mixit, and all! I have a new major headache (enclosed .bmp). Video-streaming links that normally have played for years (as of yesterday) are showing me this error message, "Error loading player: No playable sources found" - Yesterday is when 52.1.1 auto-installed! There's no other explanation. Do I rollback to an earlier version of Firefox or what now? I am demoralized. - Andy whatishappening.bmp

So, here's where I'm at now: Under Add-ons/plugins, PCDM was downloaded. However, in yellow, it states that it "will be installed shortly". Stuck at that point. It also added the "OpenH264 Video Codec provided by Cisco Systems, Inc." which seems installed.

Hi, Before I add "media.gmp-eme-adobe.forceSupported = true" to download/install APCD, I'd like to avoid losing my specific version of Flash. Is that a go? My problem (I believe) is the basic same as everyone else's. Twitter will not read MP4 (H.264 + AAC) HTML5 videos. Works on Google Chrome, not Firefox. In my case when I scroll past one, Firefox 52.0.1 ESR often freezes, which is most annoying.
