lol u two crack me up round 3?

im curious how many peeps have install 98se for friends compared to xp installs .i myself constantly am installing 98se 3 friends usually because their 2 cheap 2 buy xp or they run a lowend p2 or something .i read alot of forum about how many people still use 98se in fact one of the reason microshaft entended end life was partly do to third world countries just starting out with computers etc. now im not staying install 98 not xp i like them both i think if u got the system and the xp cd do install. im just wanta know in the last year how many times did u install 98se for a friend etc and how many xp installion you did i wanta see the percentage be honest and install for yourself because of blotched nlite iso dont count lol thank u and remember im not praising either os im just curious..chow

i used a dual boot 98se/xp pro but as the resendent computer geek in my crowd im alaways installing 98se for friends why? cause usually they dont buy xp cd 2 cheap and they just want online anything will do and everyones used 98 at some point.i install 98se plus dx9 ie 6 etc and hook them to internet theyre happy as a fatkid at a pie eating contest .a few ask 4 xp but when i tell him about activation they say na 98se ok they just want online fast and usually i might add their running a lowend p2 etc given 2 them or they grabbed cheap sursprizingly theirs still a lot of peeps who use pcs but never really owned one .so i guess 98se is still pretty popular for newbie low on cash. and when i ask friend if they want upgrade they say no most times afraid of change unwilling to lose data on upgrade etc etc .so u tell me if u want online fast mimium install on a fairly easy os to operate id say 98se is pretty quick.oddly enuff most newbies dont know about xps extras all the goodies they just wanta surf get email and use yahoo to play games .in time all newbies become power users then theyll see what their missing in xp .so everybody relax cause if u think about it how many install of 98se have u done 4 friends compared to xp hey theres another thread..hmmmm lol chow .

constantly while playing u need to download maps which are saved in your maps folder plus screenshot and sounds slowly but surely your see 10 mb 30 mb etc its a fact of cs always downloading stuff 4 the game your beat .enjoy...

this is my favorite threads makes me laugh .if u have xp it would be dumb to use a older os if u cant use xp because of processor etc then 98se is the best bet.or use both.but u cant put 98se up to xp its a no brainer xp wins hands down.i heard the the reson 4 98se as followed. 1-easy to use 2-no activation 3-most games work yada yada yada as for xp -more in step with todays multimedia/networking etc etc. if u just wanta surf play yahoo games pm your mother then stay with 98 its cheaper. but if u love media or lean towards the bussiness side xp pro. ived used all oses and they have their short commings fresh out of betas .but it seems like its like defencing your favorite sports team 2 matter how good or bad. maybe the thread should be why i still use 98se. anyhow one mans ramblings take care the battle rages on lol.l

why u guys fight a battle of wits over who lovs xp longhorn is a year away and there be a xp is 5 years old thread with people knock xp so whats the diff 98 is great 4 run of the mill surfing etc its ok as far as virus go who cares xp gets them longhorn will its a never ending saga .if 98 gets u by then great i use 98se/xpsp2 im not a avid digital media or gamer i surf built webpages mild resources and i use whatever os boots first .gotta go need more coffee .IE 7 is it the next big thing and why does it seen like with anti spyware and other programs that nowaday its seems all the crap u need 2 protect u from spyware viruses is getting as big as a os weird.chow

B) read some of your articles on another site pram good stuff and i agree boring oses 2 bad cooperatation amongst the builders wont happen .instead we watch version after version offer us a new theme/style and the lastest internet explorer yippie kia.

hi 98 user /xp user .ived used me countless times with 100%success no horror stories it is faster better performance i cant knock it .in my research ived found that usually it doe or doesnt like certain hardware but ive never had these problems. i have it installed on my moms old P2-400 dell no problems after a year.

xp theme for 98se I made a theme of xp for 98se with icons sounds etc.. check it out...

ived uses both windows blinds and object dock to try and duplicate xp style its pretty close to the real thing yet i found it took a while 4 them 2 load and it did slow me down i try themes etc .try the customizing windows forum in drop menu below good tips there my friend.

hey im running a dualboot 98se/xpro sp2 now with the same setups msn yahoo etc i find 98se runs faster and shuts down like lighting now ive got all the updates 4 98se known to man as far as lock ups go i get a few when trying 2 open up 2 much at the same time.as 4 xp its handy having it load all the drivers 4 me less visits 2 driversguide .com lol but never the less xp is grapical prettier but if all i did is chat surf id use 98se its zippier i find pintos are good on gas does that make me the pacer of oses lol anyway i like them both i test everything on 98se before i put it on xp . take care boys and hail 98se

with all the new sp2 tweaks updates etc is your pc running better than it once was? have u notice less crashes etc.tell us here?
