    really.. removing this is fine you sure what if i removed something happens and i have restore point will it restore the registry?

    i tried your aero glass.xml same settings as i said everything is correct there is something wrong with the pc or the task scheduler won't do it's job i found a software Fix My Task Scheduler i clicked on Fix it found 6 problems fixed it but still nothing its kind of like frozen task aero glass as you can see on the screenshot i sent you adobe softwares running fine as well as dolby selector intel interface etc.. im now trying some fix pc tools i found this path in regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tree\Aero Glass but i don't want to touh it im afraid something will happen so that it won't start at all!

    hi DrStrange yes i tried this and i know there is an export .xml button i replaced it deleted imported it settings same all correct and there is no link for schtasks.exe and folders are right and there is no aeroshost.exe running in taskmanager.

    aha well it was in hidden "Change settings that are currently unavailable" so yea but it did not fix that its just my laptop f... it i need mac or new laptop that simple stupid task scheduler thing you know whats weird even if i remove the Aero Glass task and reinstall it it still does not start at boot while every step it right.

    um no i don't also see why power options would cause that but yes i disbled that and rebooted taskmanager empty no aerohost nor does it show transparent so i have to run manualy. it must be my machine i have been using it for 1 or 2 years so no wonder why i always get bad things happening always me! microsoft hates me

    i just looked and its the same eveything is right enabled nothing wrong both installation and the schedule.bat is same settings so maybe the Queued should be at Ready but it does nothing there. it's my f.... machine i know its dead simple said other tasks are running fine.

    Well hopefully the OP read Big Muscles instructions before downloading Aero Glass! Quote: "If you are a beginner and you do not have at least basic system knowledge of Windows (such as registry editing etc.) you should not install this software." ~DP lol i actualy do know how to regedit and stuff but im not a pro i'am an daily pc user so i do encoding themes i can edit with photoshop i do have pc experience but not much as you guys so but registry i changed my windows 8.1 pro user account picture since there was a problem with unable to change picture there were alot of people with that problem now still i cannot change it both lock screen and user account picture if i do want to change it i can do so via regedit and i do have basic system knowledge of windows i can also change my windows system properties settings text or picture but that's about it if you watch some tutorials or read alot of how to.. than in no time you got it but i do not everyday like pc settings tweak i don't know alot of some stuff that's it i hope you understand this seing your profile pic you must be smart einstein

    energy options does not exist i think you mean power options there is no fast startup on power options only these settings balanced, high performance, power saver,

    try disabling fast startup of what laptop well my laptop takes 1to 2 mins to boot so its not fast or do you mean anything from taskmanager

    i do have an ssd+hdd but not in this laptop so i think it should be ok and i use hibernate alot since i do alot of encoding videos custom themes etc so when i don't want to close my work i hibernate it and im back where i was so just for that i hope that aero stays open ow well tnx i think this Task Scheduler is broken though it says dolby selector that does start up and some adobe softwares i tried reinstall and schedule.bat also in task manager there is something called dwm.exe running is this related to aero glass if so why does that run and not aerohost.exe weird microsoft has screwed windows alot i liked 7 better i do have 7 ultimate on other laptop but i use this more often but there is always a bug or something,

    now i have one question it might be stupid but! what if i never shutdown or reboot laptop anymore would the aero still be active.. cause i don't like the idea to go to task scheduler and run aero everytime it is anoying btw: again on my PC the aero works fine got my donation key watermark gone all cool with desktop pc but laptop the task won't run it says Queued but neither task scheduler runs aero neither task manager shows aerohost.exe unless i run it via task scheduler.

    no it did pop up with this promt from the schtasks.exe but the aero did not start up i also tried wiseclean program so since there is no aero showing up i will have to run it manualy after every boot or logof login see this screenshot how it shows after reboot i have to right click to run the aero other wise it stays at Queued and it does nothing.

    how do you create a link.. you mean addres bar copy this C:\Windows\System32\schtasks.exe /run /tn "Aero Glass" than paste and enter? than copy schtasks.exe to startup folder?

    In the Task Scheduler Library, you can select the appropriate task on the top and then look on the History tab. It allows you to see the success or failure of a task in an Event Viewer type look. Hello, Tripredacus i know that and as said before i have to go to Task Scheduler to run aero glass and it does not start on reboot or logof login manualy only via Task Scheduler -Run than it runs the aero but here is a screenshot you might know whats up i also tried schedule.bat but that only places new task from aero glass same thing.

    hello guys i have aero everything works fine just 1 problem it does not autostart on reboot why.. the Status stays at Queued how come in Task Scheduler any fix for this cause i have to go to task scheduler to run the aero everytime..

    No i think that is inactive window and yes i see that the round corners is acting weird its still there but the shadow hides it,
