Root - I386 -$OEM$ cmdlines.txt -Apps -xplode Does that mean i will use .\XPlode\XPlode.exe in my cmdlines.txt? and this makes its install from the CDRom?... Iknow this has been adressed already many times and i've dug up some threads on this, but i still don't completly understand. I want to run xplode from my CD using cmdlines.txt. How does the the #sourcepath# get defined so it uses the CD rom? My Apps folder is not in my $OEM$ and the Xplode folder will be in root like the $OEM$. Thx

Since its a inno setup you must create a .inf file and use the /loadinf=your_inf_file.inf It should look like this: NT2Setup_multi.EXE /VERYSILENT /LOADINF=ntrans.inf" Also check this out Inno setup silent switches hope that helps

I just used the Astalavista's guide to modify my winntbbu.dll and syssetup.dl_. I inserted them back into my I386 folder and ran my installation of windows. Now the first problem that appeared was during the copying of the system files it stopped at both these files saying that windows couldn't copy the files and gives me the choice of retrying, cancel or ignore. I chose ignore for both and it finish and rebooted. The second problem happens when it gets to my boot screen that i made. About 30 seconds(maybe less) it pops up a error and when i choose to see log, it gives the details. I took both files and used modifyPe on them(BBU ModifyPe and Compressor.cmd that comes with the BBU Color changer). ModifyPE fixed the first problem but the second one still happens. since i slipstreammed SP2 into my CD i only have winntbbu.dll and if im not mistaking i saw somewhere that its normal so i didnt use makecab on it. What now? P.S. I didn't have the WINNT32U.DLL in my I386 folder that is mentionned in the guide so i used the one that i got from the guide and added it to my I386 folder...could that be the prob? EDIT: Well i pin-pointed the problem do be the syssetup.dl_ that was giving the problem. I put the original back and the setup ran fine... but what about my P.S. ?

I want to know if its normal for the resolution settings in my winnt.sif not to work on a VMware with no VM tools installed on the virtual machine?...( I think i read something like that on this forum somewhere)...Anyways if it is true, how do i get the resolution settings in my winnt.sif file to work if you can only install VM tools after windows is installed on the Virtual machine. If it is not true, (it's fun Quoting myself... ) The reason for this question is because i can't see all my Application installing window because the res is screwed. thx

I use Notepad2 and the files are in ANSI. The runconceex.cmd runs fine, it the clean.cmd thats the prob. It removes the shorcuts but doesnt reboot. I left the ODBC stuff in my nlite config when i made my winXP CD and everthing worked

Well after numurous tries i finially got it to work...I think the problem was the office tools.
