hi, this has been a while sence i have post anything so here this is. i'm looking for a tweak that will redirect physical memory too pagefile.sys. instead of the physical memory. that can be used for something els. could some help me find a tweak for this or a program?

this sounds like verizon is the best most dsl company. i'm tempilory looking for alternative broadband company. currently with verizon my brother and i have back bills need to be payed-on for verizon so i may endup going with time warner company witch stands for road runner. so if you have alternative company please let me know thank you.

ok i am using NetworkActiv AUTAPF 1.0 i ned a program like that will give me a port range like a ramdem port pick. i also need a addon for windows server 2003 NAT/Firewall, that pc has 2 network cards for going to both my bro pc, to mine. do you know a program that dose detected a ramdem port pick from any pc on my lan?

oh? i have seen some hiden settings when i put linux on that pc had. some how the settings were trigered when i had linux on with xp. dose anybudy know why those settings are not show sence i did have linux on that pc with xp?

yes you are correct that's what DMA stands for.

@gdogg i'm glad you pmed me this tweak. there has got to be a program to find out the acutal dma buffer size. i'll be looking in to them later and post 1 on a new thread.

some1 sent me a pm that they gave me the tweak for this so here is the tweak: SYSTEM.INI file: [386enh] DMABufferSize=64 you can change the valu 64 to what ever size is your DMA Buffer size.

May I ask why you are increasing the size of the DMA buffer? Are you hoping to gain overall I/O performance increases? Yes, you know why i want to change that? well it's because that the DMA suppost to be highter then 16 on the size.
