  11. Fresh Install with no ACPI (updated): Posted 8/12/2002 by TweakXP Member Here is an easier way to do the Fresh Install with no ACPI. When setup is loading, the blue screen will ask if you have any raid devices, and to press F6. When it does that, press and hold F7, & Congratulations! No ACPI will be installed. I found that on tweakxp.com. i am trying to find a winnt.sif command line so that there is no install of ACPI. i don't want to press F7 everytime when i go to do reinstall windows xp, 2k3. how do i go about this with WinNt.sif?

  18. i have winxp pro clients workstations. also i have windows xp sp2 firewall enabled. i have setuped DHCP, i need to know how to configure the DHCP for ports so that ones i want open can be open to. is there anyway i can work around on opening ports that i want?
  19. hi, is there any options in domain Controller Security Policy, Domain Security Policy so that the 2 pc's can access the internet with the ports that i allow? 2nd i use rounting and remote access for internet connection sharing.

  21. hi, me again actually i wanted to use the physical memory for things like: better preformace for my pc, use the pagefile that dosen't hardly use of anything. so next time a program that really needs the memory example: virtualdub like need to allocate the memory that's need for that. do you know how i can load virtualdub into pagefile.sys instead of physical memory? i would love to have virtualdub already loaded in to pagefile.sys.

  23. security like: can not delete files and folders with out permissions from say aminstrator?. can not install programs with out putting in a password or any place els that i need. just sertin ares can be changed. how about a driver security that will not allow changes unless i want them to be changed? that's the kind of security i'm looking for
