  1. I'm installing my unattended cd on Toshiba laptop and i have the same issue with portcls.sys. I've removed the path on wint.sif for "DP/S/R" and it installed fine. I thing this issue is gonna be solved. I hope so.
  2. I can't download the bat file. Can you share it again? Thanks.
  3. Astalavista, i have one question. With the solution you provided for the drivers, it is needed to do something more to have the drivers integrated in our unattended XP? Or is enough the lines you provided to put in winnt.sif? By the way, great guide.
  4. In my unattended install, for security programs, i'm using the last versions of this programs: I'm thinking to put also aSquared for trojan finding. What do you think of this list? Is too much? Or it's ok? What programs do you use? Thanks.
  5. I've tried everything and i can't manage to make this work. In every time i tried, i still can sort the Programas menu i the way i like and it don't auto sort automatically. I can't find what i am doing wrong. Can you help me? Thanks.
  6. I've tried this solution and didn't worked for me. I just can't put auto sort to work fine. I've tried everything.
  7. You have CreateMenuOrderKey.vbs on Sort.vbs file but i don't find this file, CreateMenuOrderKey.vbs. Where is this file? Is needed? Thanks.
  8. Hello people! I searched a lot for this but i didn't find any solution. I would like to know if there is any way to associate media files like *.mpg, *.wmv, *.mov, *.mp3, etc, etc to open with Windows Media Player Classic in a unattended install. I would appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.
  9. I would like to try your method but honestly i can't see how to make it work... How i launch vbs files? And when? Can you make a tutorial more simple? I would apreciate. Thanks.
  10. works everytime... never fail. make sure that this is included in your regtweaks that u launch at t-13 I put that regtweak on my regtweaks that i launch in cmdlines.txt but when i install a new program, the Programs menu is not automatically sorted. What i am doing wrong? Thanks.
  11. No, offcourse not! I used the method that is explained in the first page of this thread, the method that rdalling describes. The problem is that i was putting wrongly this regtweak. I was using another regtweak that overwrite this one. I deleted it and now works like a charm.
  12. I think i already managed to do this. I put this: on my regtweaks in RunOnceEx and it worked fine! It puts the quicklaunch to size i want and also enables the Windows Media Player toolbar. Like i want. But thanks for your quick answer.
  13. Can you explain this better? I can't manage to get quicklaunch work with my desired size. I've tried everything and it always appears with the default size. Can you put here your code so i can see it better? Or anyone can explain how you managed to get this work? Thanks in advance.
