Strange, there's nothing to set but I'll let the OP address that statement. Can you boot into Safe Mode? If so you could, start System Restore from there and go back to before you installed it perhaps?.

The creep who controls Cryptolocker has probablhy started up again anyway elsewhere. Russian and Ukrainian authorities never caught him, assuming they were trying to.

You have to go through the rigmarole of re-pairing mouse and keyboard on the other OS's in a multi-boot. I've also discovered that it wont remain paired in 8.1 anyway so have given up and am using the wired ones when I boot into 8.1. Could also be something to do with the BT used for these, - the original version. However, I do not like the fact that 8/8.1 have taken away the ability to bypass using a key in any case.

1.2.5 is the latest version for 8.1, see here: http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/170850-aero-glass-for-win81-125/ ....but until the website reappears I don't know of any updates and the donate button wont appear until then either. The version in this thread does NOT work on 8.1.

I've asked this on a number of forums to no avail. I'm trying to find a way of pairing a bluetooth keyboard in 8.1 without using a passkey. It was possible iin 7 and earlier systems because we didn't have Metro dumbing everything down. I'm not trying to do anything illegal here, it's simply that Microsoft, when designing their Bluetooth hardware, never thought of how they would act across multiple boot systems. As it is now, if you use a passkey on one, it will stop working on all the others. So one has then to start redoing the pairing all over again. A real PITA.

It appears that my problems are solved by making sure the installer used the right drive letter...sorry but my eyesight isn't great and I hadn't noticed that. After a reboot it appears to be working OK. I never even noticed anything downloading (symbols for instance) so assume it did that behind the scenes. Sorry for the "panic".

BM this is bizarre. My 8.1 is on partition N and the Aeroglass folder with logs etc are all sitting on C along with a whole bunch of other files. Not sure why that is. (I multi-boot). I am trying to attach the debug log and it wont attach so here are the contents. It would appear that half my problem is that although I was in partition N the software was trying to install on C (which is my default boot system, Vista). Best start again from the beginning perhaps? Logs not needed after all...see post below.

I'm sorry it's too complicated for this old fogey, I just don't understand the instructions for downloading symbols. I'll just have to regard it as money sent to a good cause to benefit others and abandon Aeroglass altogether. This isn't helped by MSFM Forums not sending me any notifications so wheneverr I get back here I have a whole lot of catching up to do. Surely BM can reissue a version that includes these symbols?

It's all very well saying if only people would read the forum...fine, all 40 pages with everyone disagreeing with everyone else? Sorry but BM needs to update the software to match 8.1 update 1 like he said he would and I'm sure he will eventually. After all it went out on Windows Update today.

Nothing works for me. I have a license too. The page starts flashing on and off too fast for me to accomplish anything. It keeps saying to retry download DWM or whateve but never does it, so have had to completely uninstall Aeroglass. I shall have to wait for the next update I guess. What makes it worse is I'm also not getting any notifications of replies here...!

Am I reading above correctly - Win 8.1 Update 1 is taken care of in Aeroglass? I didn't realise until too late that KB2919355 was installing. Of course I could uninstall it again, but if A/G works OK then I wont bother. Am in my Vista machine right now so can't check things out but at last boot 8.1 was giving a Command Prompt windows type error for A/G.
