  1. i still use it! thanks for keeping it updated!
  2. any plans for when the other games might be up?
  3. Try updating your drivers... If it is a laptop, try the wireless driver first, as I know from firsthand experience it solved the problem on two of my machines. If new wireless drivers doesnt solve the problem, just try updating them one by one till you find out which one is the culprit WoRdUp48
  4. one the first page of this thread, you click on the office updater link in step 1. It should take you to this link: http://www.freedll.co.uk/office/D/click.php?id=2 WoRdUp48
  5. i'd like to slipstream OneNote 2003 sp2 as well. What would be the differences and how would i go about doing it? thanks for the help in advance. WoRdUp48 its probably just a simple change of a few filenames, but im not sure which ones to do? Do you happen to have OneNote neanderthal? Perhaps you could make some smaller packs, like for OneNote, Project, Visio, etc. It probably would not take very long, and would be very helpful. This could be kinda the one stop shot for updating all the office applications!
  6. i was actually wondering how to do the same thing with one note? can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks alot WoRdUp48
  7. Hey, I think you need to edit the batch file (slip C.cmd) because you changed the name of the folders. Instead of Office2003, you now call it OfficeUpdater. That change needs to be reflected in the batch file. I changed it on my own, and all works fine! good work neanderthal. Oh! one more thing...a new junk mail filter is out. you can replace the other one: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en
  8. I guess he really only updates it once a month, but hopefully he can make an exception for this one!! What do ya say there Neanderthal? ooooh! just saw this on the first page of the topic! "Office 2003 Updater Coming soon..."
  9. that was it..thank you very much!
  10. So I installed the new XPize 4.0, having been a big fan of 3.2. However, many, (not all) of my icons have a white or black outline around them. For example, those in my quicklaunch, and on my desktop have white outlines around them, and those in my start menu (on the right, things like My Computer, Network Connections, Control Panel, Printers and Faxes, etc.) have black outlines... I dont understand what has happened?? Can anyone please help...
  11. all you have do to is, when you are instaliing it, uncheck that box for that file and you should be ok...
  12. thank you for posting that screenshot XPero. I appreciate it
  13. does anyone have a screen shot of what the boot screen looks like? I'd like to check it out to see if I want to install that part... Thanks
  14. thanks for the update Neanderthal. I hope an update comes soon! Also, regarding office xp, i think that is a good idea...it is pretty old now...almost 5 years old i think. keep up the good work!
  15. Has this project perhaps been abandoned? Have not heard any news as of late?
  16. I've actually never seen that error....perhaps the author can help out a bit, and when he gets time hopefully he will update the guide and the outlook junk mail patch to the newest one... WoRdUp48
  17. The only thind i can tell ya is to make sure you are running the right exe file. The guide is actually slightly incorrect...it should read something like this: Step 3 should read like this: Go to "(X):\Office2003" folder and run "Admin (Y).exe" X is the letter of your hard drive where the pack was extracted, and Y is the letter of your CD drive. The Adimn exe you run corresponds with your CD drive letter, and the Slip exe file corresponds with the letter of your hard drive. Try that and see if it helps!
  18. Thanks for the reply XPero. That was exactly what I was looking for. Just a general time frame. And I definitely understand being busy because I am myself! Thanks for the reply. Good luck on getting this nice program finished. I really do like it a lot! WoRdUp48
  19. Hey XPero, I hope you don't take this in the wrong way, but I was wondering if you could give me an approximate date when you think the final version will be released. The reason I ask is because I'd like to install 4.0 on a fresh install, and I'll wait for it if its not too far off. If it is too far off, then I may resort to install 3.2, but I'd really like to wait for 4.0 I'm not trying to bug you and pressure you to get it done, I'm just curious as to about when 4.0 final can be expected. Thanks!
  20. Hello again... Just wondering if there is an easy way to change the drive letters for the Admin X.exe's and the Slip X.exe's because my CD drives are not C-G, but are I, J, and K. When they used to *.bat files, it was easy enough, but I'm a bit unsure how to do it in this case. Please help! Also, I think there was an update today, see here: http://www.msfn.org/comments.php?shownews=14115 You may want to add this to your pack! Thanks again for all your hard work WoRdUp48
  21. there may indeed be way, but why go through all that trouble? Just make the password be his first name, and tell him to change it (for obvious reasons) once windows finishes installing. Take the easy way out here, its no that big of a thing. If you give him him no passwrod, he should put a password on, so he has to mess with the login settings either way,...just make it wasy on you and him and give him an easy password
  22. Looking great Neanderthal! Thanks a lot for your hard word in this....keep it up! As long as you keep it updated, I will keep coming back to this excellent pack! Nice work! WoRdUp48
  23. Well, I do like having visuals...as I occasionally visit the unattended.msfn.org site, it has nice screenshots that just help you to know a little better whats going on. I suppose I am just a very visual learner, thats all. But you may do what you wish, it is a nice little program anyhow!
  24. looking good neanderthal....I appreciate the work you are putting into this. As I mentioned before (though not time-sensitive), adding a few screenshots to your guide will improve it a lot I believe! Thanks!
  25. ok...will give it a try...hope you can keep this updated!! looks good! also, your guide is pretty good, but screenshots are always nice... also, I assume I just burn the Office_Source folder (or rather, everything inside it as a data CD) and then all should be good? If that is correct, you should add that to your guide. Thanks...
