  1. No, I had a problem with my hard drive and had to redo most of the work for 4.7, but as you can see I missed a couple of things.
  2. YAY! By the way, I have a question: When will this be out of beta (when will it be 1.0?)? Thats it.
  3. Good idea, thanks for suggestion and the bug in the website.
  4. Thanks for confirmation. These are great news!
  5. Vize 0.6 Beta This version fixes 2 important bugs. Changes and Download Enjoy
  6. From the feedback that I have received from ChrisKuhli, it seems that this error has been fixed
  7. From version 0.4, there are no critical bugs. So if an error occurs, the worst thing that can happen is that Vize stops itself or that an error message is displayed. No harm to your computer.
  8. As you can read in this thread, it isnt. But the more common bug has been catched and fixed for next version.
  9. That error is already fixed for next version.
  10. Have you tried it? SP1 does makes a lot of difference in performance and reliability.
  11. Thank you both for testing
  12. Hi my dear XPize users, As you all know, I'm now concentrated on my new project Vize, therefore XPize hasnt got any update recently. I will explain in a few lines my thoughts about XPize future: XPize will no longer be released in the classic NSIS installer. The NSIS installer has been bad for both me as developer and you as users for several reasons: NSIS code hard to maintain NSIS does not allow advanced features (or makes them hard to implement) NSIS does the easiest difficult Users have been dealing with an improper installer Users have been lacking advanced features Users have been lacking a *real* desktop application For these reasons amongst others, XPize will be completelly rewritten in C#. I know the main complain about this will be the requirement of the .Net Framework 2.0, but I'm a C# coder (I earn my living with it), so I will not look back on this. If the framework stops you from using XPize, it is your decision and I respect it. I will start writing the new XPize after the first stable version of Vize 1.0 is released. Thank you very much for you patience. XPero
  13. Cool! I need Smiley confirmation too. @ ChrisKhuli: Weird. Please try again. Restart your system first and make sure you are going to try in a clean system, meaning, no trace of older Vize installations are found. Let me know the results. I will send you a test version if your results are negative. Cheers
  14. Smily and MagicAndre please check your PM store.
  15. I know this is stupid, but please make sure your using 0.5 (just to discard the possibility you used the update and it didnt copy correctly the new version). Which Vista flavour are you using (Ultimate, Home Premium, etc...)?
  16. Is that bug you reported fixed?
  17. Vize 0.5 Beta I said I would not add new features to Vize untill the patcher proved 100% stable, but with this version I couldn't resist Changes and Download Enjoy

    HELp with xpize

As he said, download the guide. Closed
  19. Already fixed for next version.
  20. .Net 2.0. Also please stay in topic or I will be forced to delete posts.
  21. I'm focused now in the inner workings of Vize. When I am happy with it, I will start adding new resources and extras
  22. Very well done -I-. My idea is the following: Once we have the first apha of the patcher, I will create a Vize version with it and will be providing that version to the x64 users that want to be testers. From this, we will get feedback on how the patcher works. Patcher author will also have feedback from me on his patcher's usage (easy to call it from code or not, bugs on scripts, etc...)
  23. Ok, found the bug and will be fixed for next version
  24. This is good I want bugs now, happiness will come later. I will look into that. Are you using Vista or Server 2008? vLite? Cheers
