  1. Just set everything up the way you want it. eg sound scheme, mourse cursor, window fonts, window size, theme and desktop background. Once this is to your liking, go to Display Propeties / Themes tab and choose SAVE AS. save the theme file and copy the theme file to your UA cd. When windows loads this theme file it will also load all the other options you have set, Just add the THEME location to your WINNT.SIF
  2. It should work with a self extracting RAR/7Zip. Just compress the ObjectDock directory and have it extract to Program Files folder, you will just need to export the reg key with you Serial and settings. This should work, I have tried it, but it was a few months ago now.
  3. I think the easiest way to do this is to use a THEME file. Just set everything up the way you want to. eg sound scheme, mourse cursor, window fonts, window size, theme and desktop background. Once this is to your liking, go to Display Propeties / Themes tab and choose SAVE AS. save the theme file and copy the theme file to your UA cd. When windows loads this theme file it will also load all the other options you have set, Just add the following to your WINNT.SIF [Shell] CustomDefaultThemeFile = "%WinDir%\Resources\Themes\MyTheme.theme"

  5. Ive just figured out away for you. If you use the "Re-arrange Commands" option under Tools/Customize. You can go to the Help menu or any other menu and remove or add menu items. If you remove this Activate product it saves changes in Normal.dot I guess you can then Unattend Normal.dot to copy to the users Document and Settings\USER\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dot Hope this helps
  6. You could install XPize http://xpero.msfn.org/ This has the MCE Theme plus a few other visual mods.
  7. Yes it did. I didnt want the Tray Icon, so i disabled it and saved the Reg key and it wrked on my next UA Install
  8. I wanted to do the same thing, I ended up setting it up how i wanted it and exported the reg settings. Export this key [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Alexander Avdonin\TaskSwitchXP\2.0]
  9. You can download the Office Resource Kit. Then use the Custom Install Kit. It can be set in there along with various other Office Settings
  10. You can use the Office Resoruce Kit (ORKTools.exe i think the file is called from MS website) You can add your account settings to the unattended Office install with the utility - among other things. Try it out. Works well for me. PM me if you need any help
  11. I have tried changing the SystemLocale number to my country but I could not get it to work. I just changed it using a registry file. Now it works ok
  12. I dont use skins so I am not too sure, but looks like its in this key? [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\Skins] "CurrentSkin"=
  13. I was wanting to do the same, I beleive it is the following key "MediaPlayer_10" = Enery Bliss [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences] "CurrentEffectType"="MediaPlayer_10"
  14. Hey there, I've been reading this forums for weeks now trying to get my unattended DVD sorted, most questions I have had have already been covered by searching. However the one problem I have is with PC-Cillin Internet Security 2005. I want to disable the built in Firewall (I use and prefer Sygate Pro) When running the setup.exe within windows you get the standard install options, enter serial, folder location etc etc, there is also a ANTIVIRUS only setting which does not install Firewall related software, which is what I want. How can i enable this setting in unattened mode? The package uses a MSI installer and I have searched my WINDOWS\TEMP and USER\TEMP folders looking for INIs or files it may have created with this setting without success. Any help would be great.
