    I'll mark this as solved, turns out you were right GrofLuigi, i can't user the built in "Administrator" account with the runas command, i created a separate account with user privileges, logged in and successfully executed a command with the 'runas'

    Hi, I'm running Windows XP Home SP3 and i've been trying to use 'runas' feature (i've been running it successfuly on my other box which has Windows XP Professional) so far i've tried to change the Administrator account password, so far without luck, below are the logs for the command and the Administrator account. Could it be that i have to change something in group policy settings ? http://pastebin.com/2iUQLRji
