the peoples with error code 5, cannot boot from cd. take a clean boot sector from ur winxp cd (use isobuster or bbie for example) and edit it according to the guide. And please use Hex Workshop v4.23 to hex edit the file, since other hex editors might damage the file.

PRO1.DAT is in the root of your boot cd/dvd? you modified it according to the guide by flyakite? the BOOT Files are all there? (the ones created when you executed winnt32 /noreboot) and those files are in the necessary place? @tim: you dont need a valid key to boot from the cd/dvd! you'll need it later during installation, but you can safely boot without one.

yep, you understood me wrong ! i want to know also a program for mounting mp3/cue, i mean i dont need it but would be interesting if there is some kind of such program i just asked another question related to yours one

yeah good question ! and another question besides this is: whats the best tool to split an mp3 with the information from the .cue sheet file that belongs to the mp3? i found mp3DirectCut and musiCutter which handle that. But just interesting to know what tools you guys use, to go sure i got the best/simplest/fastest maybe and to not destroy my source mp3 file

i have problems with the show all hidden/system files. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] "Hidden"=dword:00000001 "HideFileExt"=dword:00000000 "SuperHidden"=dword:00000001 "ShowSuperHidden"=dword:00000001 applied that but it wont work. i have to go to win explorer > folder options and deactivate it manually. any ideas? also tried with dword 0 and everything, no success.

read this to get knowledge about how cdshell works and read this to know where to copy/extract the cdshell package. the best is you read the whole article. it was the first thing i did when i started with the multi boot thing and it helped me a lot.

what about a forum/google search ??? edit: and btw magiciso can handle ur requests very easy ! if you didnt get it to work with magiciso, its a must that you fail with cdshell since magiciso is very easy to use b/c you can do everything in the gui, no need to build/edit files.
