any one know the answer to my qestion TELL MEE THE ANSWER and i got two more probloms some reson scan disk keeps coming each start up and does the through scan which takes for ever so i cancel it but i turned it off in msconfig and when i go into control panel it says An error occured while Windows was working with the control panel file C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MAIN.CPL i tried replacing the file from a back image from norton ghost but that didit work

hey i tried star wars empire at war and it works great on windows me you cant get the installer to work becasue it needs win xp or vista but if you can get it installed on a windows xp or vista computer and then copy where it was installed then put it on windows 98/me then you can play it and this is with out that kenealex thing ya thatts right you dont need it but you may be able to get the installer to work with kenealex

you could just take one ram stick to a shop and ask what it is and then they should tell you what they have for sale thats good for you computer not just any shop but lol a computer store Dick Smith is a good shop but i dont know if is in your country watch out they may rip you off at Dick Smith

hey put the windows me update sp thing on the web site i think that would be good since its windows 9x forums and downloads

but you cant install windows 9x on a ntfs drive right?

i uesd to play uru ages beyond Myst and it work great but now when i install it and go into the game it wont start the splash screen comes up and loads a bit and that's all it goes away and then computer does no thing its the same with IL2Sturmovik i use to play this game about 2 years ago and it worked great but it wont start it does the same as URU it comes with the splash screen and then it just gets out of it self and dosent start but when IL2Sturmovik gets out of it self it the desktop is in 640 x 480 IL2Sturmovik has the option to use direct x or open gl tried both of em and didn't work nvidia geforce 4 mx 440 pci 64 mb 384 mb of sd ram 933 mhz pentium 3 L2 256kb cache yamaha ds-xg pci audio codec [WDM] in device manager in system device theres a yellow ! next to plug and play bios extension i tried going in to properties and then clicking update but computer wont find the drivers could this be my problem i didn't have this yellow ! thing problem when URU and IL2Sturmovik were working

i tryed a realtek RTL8139(A) pci fast etherent adapter and the same thing happened

nivdia geforce 4 mx 440 pci 64mb ya i know am below the recommend requirements but it may work and tryed lots of games with much lower then the mineral requriements and they work fine and windows me is cool no need to go to windows 98
