My computer crashed this afternoon, then all the 32-bit icons looked different. There have solid black shadows. Switching to and back from 16-bit or 4-bit icons did not help. Re-installing RP9.1.0 did not help too Any way to fix this? Thank you

I downloaded the "Atheros L2 Fast Ethernet" DOS driver but failed to install it in Windows according to your steps Do I need to add anything to CONFIG.SYS & AUTOEXEC.BAT myself to load the DOS driver during startup?

My OS is Chinese Windows 98SE. No such issue with all versions of Uberskin and RP 9 before. Only 9.1.0 has problem

I failed to upgrade from 9.0.10 to 9.1.0. It said "GDI update is required for your system". I ran RP9Updates.exe twice but still had this problem I have checked that my gdiplus.dll version is 5.1.3102.1360 (xpsp2.040109-1800) Any hints how to solve this? Thank you

Sorry to advise that I tried all the tools but none of them worked on my Chinese Win98. Are they not compatible with DBCS Windows?

Tihiy, could you copy all these information to your first few posts of RP9? I think it necessary to let more people know the "resource salvation" side of RP9. There are still many people (like me) using Win98 heavily at work. System stability is very important to us Thank you

Test report on 9.0.3 - no more "kernel32 patch failure" on startup of Chinese Windows - new kenerl task manager (ctrl-alt-del) now works in Chinese Windows These are good news for DBCS Windows users! New issue: SimpTerm (sptnet32.exe, a terminal program) crashed the whole system in a few seconds for "kernel32 performed illegal operation". The system froze and could only be hard reset, so I cannot provide more detailed information. No such problem in the first version of RP9 and in Uberskin It happened even when GDI resource salvation was disabled Now I use PuTTY instead for terminal purpose and do not have problem so far

I use Chinese Windows too. You need to change font size in appearance yourself, and save theme under same or different name
