Foobar2000 for me (the gui isnt the best.. until u get 3rd party plugins) its small.. uses about 2000KB ram (almost 2 MB) supports like 50 different audio formats & for video i use powerdvd

oh that expand .. on menu's untick them (so they are not expanded) take a registry snapshot using RegSnap tick them the way u want them take another snapshot using regsnap choose 2 make a reg file get regsnap from the link in my signature

i done it both ways.. both had same effect.. but its the /kernel im gonna try using a sp2 kernel & doing it

i only have powerdvd 5.. where did u get 6 from? its not listed on powerdvd's site WinDVD has a version 6

honestly ive never used norton unattendedly (i havent used it period in like 2 yrs) try running it without any parameters? or maybe something like a resonce file? search the forum for .msp

try acronis trueimage.. now THAT is good blows away xp's backyp utility or system restore

everything looks ok.. the language barrier is a bit much tho (meaning i dont understand what the ;comments say above the tweaks, but the tweaks look ok) did u try the norton thing i suggested?

i think norton released a patch so it could work with sp2 or something.. try looking 4 that

totally disable it IMO it sucks i think i read somewhere tho u need it for something like auto updates tho.. so if u use that maybe disabling it will cause probs

i find whats easy too & saves a tiny bit of space is.. if u install them using an instaler (like INNO Setup) they can compress them & unzip them 4 u while registering them regards

i dont think u need the .sp1 if u have sp2 tho & these files are all blank.. so use notepad & make them

could be a bad driver? could be a bad installation/currupt could be your boot.ini is messed up could be software not compatable in SP2 i just found out u cant use /kernel= in boot.ini for somereason.. i get an error message "NTFS.sys is missing or currupt" removing that switch fixed my prob , maybe same for u? regards

k.. this worked for me.. goto boot.ini & if u have a switch there /kernel= remove that switch like i said.. worked 4 me just use bootskin if u want a custom bootscreen i guess

hi.. just do this instead.. (for your info adaware released 1.02 of SE) copy the directory C:\program files\lavasoft to $OEM$\$progs\<paste here> next use the shortcut.exe & make shortcuts if u want them.. thats easier & u dont have it scanning your pc during setup or popping up the help file regards
