  4. ive got to first 1 is probly something dumb im overlooking, but how can i use @LF (linefeed) in my message boxes second 1 is how can i have autoit sit idle & keep checking for when a program is run? cuz i wont know when its ran
  5. hmm, i would've suggested winrar too, if he'd been more clear on what he was asking, some programs use switches, like /S could have been a commandline to execute when launching the program, not a switch for installation, 2 bad he never specified what he wanted, could've solved it 4 hrs ago
  6. id be interested to see if any1 was able 2 get descent looking icons to work with 7zip's FileManager (gui part of 7zip)
  7. lol prathapml u could send me the new msn messenger virus lol but its already blocked threw nod32 i got that info from neow1n's packpage news section
  8. never tried using svcpack.inf but i use cmdlines.txt, & it works fine [commands] ..\Install\xplode\xplode.exe of course this only works if u have the same directory structure cdrom\Install\xplode\xplode.exe being the structure
  9. NOD32 wins it record 30th Virus Bulletin 100% award. "With its usual admirable performance, NOD32 once again leaves little room for comment and achieves its latest VB 100% award with predictable ease.", commented Virus Bulletin in its February edition granting Eset's antivirus its record 30th Virus Bulletin 100% Award. A record breaking 28 antivirus products were tested on Windows NT and NOD32 was one of only 4 that achieved a clean sweep detecting all the viruses in all the test sets in both on-demand and on-access tests without any false alarms. With the exception of Symantec, none of the big "brand names" made the grade with 100% detection in all test sets this time around, missing viruses in either on-demand or on-access scanning and sometimes both. Below is a list of other antivirus products tested and the amount of viruses each missed in the tests ! Authentium Command - 9 CA eTrust Antivirus - 35 CA Vet Anti-Virus - 12 Frisk F-Prot - 19 F-Secure - 7 Grisoft AVG - 1113 Kaspersky - 2 McAfee VirusScan - 8 Norman Virus Control - 383 Sophos Anti-Virus - 46 UNA UNA Pro - 32558 & this is why ive used nod32 for 1.5yrs
  10. yep, your right jroc, i currently have the 3.01.27 version but the "E" maybe makes it a bugfix or something for .18 ? EDIT: Nero6.6.0.7_NVE3.0.1.18E_MAG_DEMO_ENG_CD6648.exe is what neow1n thread had, but i guess nero pulled the file
  11. u can use shortcut.exe (its a commandline tool to make shortcuts) that may be what u want

  14. Nice Shot Wraith...... Just a little food for thought... If you save the file in MS Paint...It will compress the picture without losing any quality.. It then becomes this size.. 539 KB (552,572 bytes) Almost half the size.. Cheers dude actually, i believe ms paint saves the file with 75% quality
  15. google for a commandline resource hacker, offhand im not sure of 1
  16. REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\InstalledProducts\Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal] "UserAskStartStop"=dword:00000000 try that
  17. using a resource editor
  18. r u just using the shell32.dll from longhorn? cuz that'll be the problem, u need 2 export the icons & replace them with the 1s from the longhorn shell32.dll
  19. goto registry, browse to the key u want 2 export, right click the key, choose export & save the file somewhere
  20. if u searched, ud have found the answer some programs use a file that store reg info in it (usually a .dat or .ini file) - opera does this, aswell as many others some programs use the registry other programs use both methods + hardware footprint IDs (meaning machine specific reg keys, so u cant use it on more then 1 pc)
  21. this'd work for a temp solution to my suggestion in the "Suggestions" thread about adding line number to xplode for debug purposes, forgot about using ff on this
