  1. I'm no moderator but I can tell you that nobody has the time to email each of you individually with a link if they have one. You need to request that somebody post a link and it can't be done here. Look around and you will find that happy place! Rick
  2. My workplace bought officexp upgrade and that is what I have on my computer...so the only one I can probably use is corporate unless I download a copy from somewhere. Rick

    Aaron...cd labels

Yeah, that will work and if you make up some more, by all means post them here. I like to look "cool" to my peeps when they come over and I brag about how I have the latest Windows version that they don't even have a clue about. They think I am so smart but I just hang around the boards and the msbetang site and voila...instant smarts!
  4. Aaron, I noticed the CD label on your XP site and it looks great. Do you know where I can get this label to print out and use? Rick
  5. Okay, thanks for clearing that up Aaron...now it all makes sense and using the previous replies, I think I am armed with enough info to get the right one. You are the greatest!!! Rick
  6. Thanks Aaron for clearing up the mess! What I am really trying to get to is where can I look to see that I got the version that I thought I downloaded (inside windows). i.e. The download from eDonkey said that I was downloading 2600, however I read that there were fakes being distributed that were nothing more than RC2. Get what I'm asking? Rick
  7. I read that there were fakes circulating with 2600.01 and it was on edonkey. I got my version of 2600 from there but the file had nothing about the .01 in it. How do I know if I have loaded a fake or if I am running the real thing? Rick
  8. I posted a previous thread stating that I am having trouble with my Acer 620P scanner...getting it to work with WinXP. When I try to open the Twain driver I get an error "Twain32.dll missing...place in system file from source disk." Does anybody know why it is doing this and how to work around to get it to work. I tried dragging and dropping the twain32.dll file and still nothing. If I can get this solved, I will be able to free up the WinMe partition on my HD as that is all I have to use winme for now. Waste of space! Rick
  9. I have not noticed any "patches" for officexp that does the same as the autopatches do for WinXP. Any out there? Rick
