i can get the books cheap, theres also the internet thanks for the advice ill have a look into it, im sure its MCE.. but.. ill take your word for it CH. and then again.. it all depends on what my college starts to do, they only just got certified for doing MS qualifications. i went to my first class for win2k server admin today. it was pretty good.. went over a lot of stuff about networks, nbtstat, net use, SAM files etc... something ive looked into before for more nefarious use congrats on the qualifications CreamHackered.... your where i want to be right now. hope you get where you want with it, after all you must have paid a fair bit of time, effort and cash to get there, ive heard of other people getting to that level and still struggling to find work, because small companies dont want to pay the wage it demands... sux imo. im doing it for myself though, if i get a job out of it then great. if i dont then i still have my certificates

Europe's first mission to the Moon looks set for a July blast-off. Scientists and engineers working on the Smart 1 spacecraft are hoping to fly around the 15th of that month - but it all depends on the status of the launcher. Currently, Europe's rockets are grounded following the high-profile failure of a vehicle in December last year. But it seems the rocket's operators, Arianespace, are confident enough about the outcome of a post-accident review of systems to give Smart 1 a provisional launch date. "We've just been told we can go for July," Dr Sarah Dunkin, one of the lead project scientists on the mission told BBC News Online. "But Arianespace did say this date assumed the review would turn out alright." The news is a big fillip for everyone working on Smart 1. Originally pencilled in for a March launch, there were fears the lunar mission would be put back many months following the loss of the Ariane 5-ESCA rocket over the western Atlantic on 11 December. Hopefully, the spacecraft - which is undergoing final testing - will soon be transported to Europe's spaceport at Kourou in French Guiana and mounted on its launcher. Smart 1's primary objective is to test new technologies that can advance future planetary exploration. The craft is using an innovative form of propulsion - an ion thruster - that will take it on a 15-month spiral to the Moon. Once in orbit around the Earth's satellite, the craft will send back data about the lunar surface and environment - again trialling novel technologies. Dr Dunkin is the principal investigator on D-Cixs, an instrument that will produce an X-ray map of the Moon. The spectrometer, which is "the size of a toaster", will determine the absolute abundances of key elements (aluminium, magnesium and silicon) in the rocks that make up the lunar surface.

Has anyone here done this qualification... im just wondering on how they found it, in spetember im thinking of doing an MCE course and maybe later bump it to MCSE. Unless someone changes my mind.. then i might just go for the MSCE depending...

DMB, not as yet. i bet they arent cheap. two sites that i expect will sell them are: www.overclockers.co.uk www.dabs.com www.chillblast.com i expect one of those will sell them as soon as they can, my moneys on overclockers getting hold of it first... they seem to keep an eye on "special" items like that. Problem with Peltier cooling systems is the potential to get condensation build up in machines. This system probably prevents that somehow.... not looked into it enough. if you lived somewhere like soutern states of USA and installed one of these i expect you would have to take some precations so you didnt get condensation building up down the back of you motherboard! (ouch!)

why didnt he just get it flashed for $12 rather than paying $30 for a new one?

i post about an amazing film like The Pianist and you counter with Jackass the movie?? JACKASS! once you have seen one epsiode of jackass you dont need to se anymore, its the same stuff over and over.

If you havent already.. you have to watch this film. its a brilliant piece of work the really brings home the horror and evil of war, and one mans struggle to live through it as a Polish jew in occupied Poland. living like a rat in bombed out buildings and living off a few dried beans a day. Its a brilliant, but sad film. The scene with the tank and kublewagon in is brilliant, i wont say any more because i dont wanna spoil it a must see! w00t

they are very pricey just for a bios chip.. id send it to the guy in the neatherlands and have him reflash it for you! ill try find his site. theres also these: http://www.badflash.com in NY as well as EU and they reflash for about $12 so that will save you money Xperties

borrow a chip of a buddy who has the same make of bios and type of chip. boot the pc then pause it, whack in the floppy, swap bios chip.. somethinglike that. or theres a guy in the neatherlands who will do it for you for about $1.50 but then you will have to wait about 5 weeks for your chip to go and come back! just buy a new chip, they only cost a few bux, dont buy a new mobo! Reason why im a bit unsure on how you reflash it is ive never been dumb enough to screw it up!

in freelancer i usually team up with other players, often with Snoop and go kick butt. the games too easy tho and the graphics suck. EVE i think has took it a bit too far the other way and over complicated some of the things freelancer missed. we shall see how it turns out.

in EVE as in freelancer you can fight other players, infact you have huge wars. you join a race and a tribe when you make your char, as i said the server i was on had over 500 people on it. we could have gone to our enemies solar system and kicked some rear if we wanted, theres even a wars statistics page, whos had a war with who.,. how many died.. who won etc etc. theres no drinking holes on EVE when you make your char you decide on their tattoos, eye color, background image, hair, jewelry. you then can morph the face or use a randomizer to do it for you. you even set the angle they face the camera, heres my char below i found why the browser wont work, known issue.

so far? games very complicated, lots of interfaces and stuff. such as.. u mine ore from asteroids.. then have to find somewhere to process it, then somewhere to sell it. the stock market is a reactive thing, unlike freelancer where prices stay the same. if someones selling huge amounts of goods in a base the price will start to drop and drop at place near it. you dont have such direct control on your ship as freelancer and its a very SLOW moving game. i dont think many people would like it. its certainly an eye candy fest though. its very buggy still. theres an ingame browser window you can view webpages on but it wont work, i get an error popup. i tried loading msfn into it but it just gets the page title then says host cant be found. Space is 3 dimensional, as in all objects arent on the same level plane. in freelancer they are.. though you can go where u like still in that. in this the map is a 3dimensional web you can rotate it and look around, kinda like a mesh for a computer model (say in 3dmax or something) depends on what type of game you like, and they still want testers so sign up and see. i know i wont be paying to play it after the beta.. i hate games that requier you to pay for them then pay again to play them. the server i was playing on tho had 510 people on it! its not one machine obviously.. but a cluster. the universe is MUCH MUCH bigger than in Freelancer, i suppose freelancer is the arcade style version of EVE. i can up some screenshots of you would like of some of the thing in the game they dont show you on the website.

this might sound a pain but.. unscrew your mother board... and try pick it up, are any of the holes where the screws where sticking to the case? as your board might be grounding out. i doubt its that tho but worth a check. i too would have suggested your powersupply is at fault or its a trojan horse. what firewall are you using? and what antivirus? im still putting money on your PSU though...

he should have been smart and moved to europe then. heh i go to a huge Pc fair very often and they chip them right there for you. the wires they put in are tiny. think theres 27 wires to go in for the best chip, all tiny tiny wires. they work real fast too, its impressive to watch. looks like the doj (or DOH depending on how you pronounce it..) only grabbed his domain name though doesent it? hope someone defaces the doj webpage beacause IMO companies chipping their machines are creating monopolies for themselves and also preventing users LEGITIMATELY, as is their right to do so under copyright law, use BACKUP games on their systems. if your disk ends up dead often thats it you have to shell out again for another. thats wrong. many companies say they will replace the CD.. what after 3 years of use? and many that have that then have in tiny print "applies to northern usa and canada only" cant return nvidia or Ati graphics cards either.. same garbage "north american and canada only"...
