  1. Only the Security and Non-Security sections in my UL's are Language Independant.
  2. But why? I respect your decision, but I don't understand. For example I never install IE9, it just sucks too much. I just want to download as little as possible in order to speed installation up as much as I can. P.S. yesterday I was offered single new update which resolves the "This program might not be installed correctly" stupid error message (at least that's what translated version of the article said, english one looks a bit different for some reason). I jumped up in joy, because this has been occasionally bugging me probably ever since Win7 came out. http://support.micro....com/kb/2762895 Sadly, i have no plans to make 2 different versions of my Win7 lists with both IE9 and 8, so those that want to stay on IE8 are on their own! As for KB2762895 and the other 2 updates, they will be included in the december's lists!
  3. IE8 updates are no longer supported in my Win7 Update Lists! As for the rest i'll investgate, and get back to you.
  4. Are you using the latest (Nov) update list, as i have checked and v4.14 is in there.
  5. Shortcut keys I know you can use in nearly any version of IE:- Esc - Stop F5 - Refresh F4 - Address Bar Enter - Go That's all I know at the moment.
  6. I don't know, I certainly hope so, there is nothing in the .mum files to indicate that you cannot integrate the updates and IE10, so it should work. I'll try integrating IE10 later tonight!
  7. You first have extract the files from the original exe file using this code:- IE10-Windows6.1-x64-en-us.exe /x:c:\ie10 Then look for this file called SETUPDOWNLOADLIST.TXT, it lists all the updates needed for IE10, plus direct download links (except for the KB updates that is!) Thanks for the tip John about DISM, but I know how to use this useful tool to integrate the updates into my offline images or to install online. But I'm sure the weblinks will come in handy for someone who doesn't know much about DISM
  8. Actually I found the info about the updates, inside the original IE10 Installer. But I didn't know that MS had published a webpage about the required updates for IE10, so I've bookmarked that for the future, and thanks.
  9. There are some updates that are needed to be in the offline image before you integrate IE10 into Win7 image KB2670838 KB2729094-v2 KB2726535 KB2834140-v2 KB2786081 You will find all of them in the Update Lists I make.
  10. Windows 7 is a non-supported OS! This also means that Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7 has been discontinued! I recommend that you try Microsoft's new Edge Chromium web browser here and it supports Windows 7*, 8.1 and 10 and the stable version is available for download! *Edge Chromium for Windows 7 will be supported until July 15, 2021!
  11. Windows 10 TP ADK is available to download: http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/59187-Windows-10-Technical-Preview-Imaging-Customization-and-Deployment?p=994784&viewfull=1#post994784
  12. I always release updated lists on a monthly basis for both Win7 and Win8, but if you are looking for a more up to date list, you can download them here (MDL Forums, you will need to register to download the lists from there!)
  13. Only if you have SP1 installed then yes you can untick the box, if not then you will need to download the SP and the post-sp1 updates.
  14. Thanks John, this revised update will be included in the next UL's
  15. Not that I know of, I used to make a list for Win2k8 R2, but due to low interest, I abandoned this version. But you will find that some (not all) updates in my Win7 x64 list will work on Server 2008 R2.
  16. Thanks JonnyT, I will start putting them into the lists, and the lists should be available sometime tomorrow around 2pm GMT (subject to change, depending on when I wake up, I'm not a morning person.) The updates are now included in latest lists available on first post of this thread. And thanks to everyone else that thanked me, I really do appreciate it (and thanks tomorrow for answering some members questions in my absence ).
  17. You could run a VM of both x86 and x64 win7 with integrated updates to find out the .Net 3.5.1 updates that are available through WU.
  18. Ok mooms, i'll backtrack and in the next available UL's .NET 3.5 SP1 will be included, but there is something you can do for me to include .NET 3.5. All i would like you to do is get the KB numbers for all .NET 3.5.1 updates that have been released by MS on WU. If you can do this favor for me, i'll include .NET 3.5.1 in my next lists.
  19. I plan to restore .NET 3.5 SP1 updates into the Win7 UL's after the release of SP2.
  20. I visit these MS webpages below which give detailed info on all KB's that have been released or revised. (though sometimes MS can be abit slow putting the KB article pages up, so i know which updates have been superseded!) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894199 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/security/default.aspx
  21. I've seen that, but the number of critical and important security updates are not the same on the two lists, why ? (checked with september list) I have quickly checked your october X86 list, and some update seems obsoletes. Also found an oddity: In your list you have Windows6.1-KB2506928-v3-x86.msu, but MS only offers Windows6.1-KB2506928-v2-x86.msu to download. If you check the digital signature, v3 is older than v2 ! So, what is your source for making your lists ? 1) Reason for that is: Critical has the Security Updates and Important has the Non-Security Updates, i know i should rename them, and i will in the next available UL's. 2) I don't know how you found v3, as i just check my lists and found v2?? 3) I don't quite follow you, are you asking how i make my UL's or where i get the updates from??
  22. I wasn't sure i'd ever get these updates out yesterday, as there were so many revised updates (mainly Win7 and XP), that it took me over 3 hours to finish updating my UL's, but your welcome
  23. I'm glad you ask, in these ULZ's you mention, you get more features included, for example, Display Drivers, Flash Player and Pre-Release software from either Adobe or MS.
  24. Yes, the updates in the Critical and Important sections of my lists, will work on any language version of Windows 7.
  25. Yes, as i stated above, the updates in the Critical and Important sections of my lists, will work on any language version of Win7. As for the other sections, some are english only, so you may have to search for the correct version in your language.
