Please, next time if you've got sp1 questions, ask them in my sp1 thread and not this thread, now to your answers:- 1) As far as i know, there is no new extra updates for sp1 2) IE9 final is only in the sp1 ULZ's.. 3) SP1 RTM Langpacks are available in my SP1 ULZ's.

You cannot convert a .cab file to a .msu file because:- 1) You could rename it to msu, but there is no info inside the file that will tell windows what to do with the update. 2) You would not be able to integrate sp1 cab file into your windows image, because MS has disabled the slipstreaming part of the service pack, regardless of what software you use to integrate. Your best bet is to download an MS integrated sp1 iso image of Windows 7, just google and you find the iso your looking for. (sorry i can't provide any more info or weblinks on this cause it would be in violation of the rules here.)

You're better off using an update pack too up date your XP Home disc, it would include all post-SP3 updates, here's a link to an up-to-date pack that was made by user_hidden:- http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7184 You can use nLite to slipstream the updates into your xp installation.

Yes you can extract the files into a cab file which can be used to integrate into install DVD, open cmd (using admin rights first) type in below:- Use IE9 as an example IE9-Windows7-x64-enu.exe /x:c:\ This will extract all the files into either a msu or cab file.

Well you can watch both, even though the RTM thread won't be updated as much anymore, so yes i would recommed you update to SP1 and watch this thread (that is until SP2 is released!)

This is for the Brazilian version of Windows Live Essentials 2011, so it is not needed, plus it's the same version as the English one. It should not cause any problems whatsoever, you can add any app to the lists by editing, but i only include apps that have been made for or by MS.

Try this tool made by George King, it installs all of the updates that you've downloaded, it can even integrate the updates into a install.wim file. @steven It would be nice to add the Windows6.1-KB976902(xxx).msu inside the update list (ULZ) ton integrate inside the image offline! I've integrated this one at last and all works fine. About the tool made by George King. It's deleted by Norton Internet Security. Thanks a lot for the new update list. Regards KB976902 is to be removed in the next UL's because SP1 RTM has leaked, plus some users have had trouble installing SP1 when this update has been installed, so that's why it will be removed in the next update. As for the George King's update tool, don't worry it's a false positive, there is nothing malicous contained inside the exe file.

The link has now been changed, you'll now get version 2.0 now instead of 1.0 of MSE. I decided to leave that update out of my UL's because well i don't see the point in having it included in the list. It's only to detect cracks and hacks that bypass activation and others things of that nature. The updates should work, and the updates are language independant, so they will work on french system. As for RT seven lite, i would recommend on using dism to integrate the updates..

Maybe it's bug in their software, i don't know, anyway, i would recommend on using dism to integrate the updates, cause i've never had a problem using that, and it never asks to download the same updates.

Thanks for spotting those mistakes, they've now been corrected, and a new x86 update list has been uploaded. And thanks for downloading my ULZ's, as i have said many time before, i will always keep my lists up to date as much as possible.

All updates from Windows Vista onwards are language neutral, meaning that they will install on your PC regardless of what language you use.

Thanks, this was by far the most updates i've ever seen, so by the time i finished, my brain was hurting. Only next day to find out that i had missed an update, so had to include that as well, just hope that next month's patch tuesday will have less updates to deal with.

I did fresh install and DirectX was at 9.0c. I started with XPSP3 x86 and XPSP2 x64 and presume people who start from there would get 9.0c. Let me know what else you think should be included. I'm too lazy to create new distributions for the ASP.net out-of-band update. I've noted the entries and will include it after this coming Tuesday's large patch bundle. You could include optional updates like, Windows Live Essentials 2009 for XP x86, DirectX Update, MS Security Essentials 1.0, and other free stuff that MS offers that will work with XP x86 and x64. I've had a look at your list both x86 and x64 and it's nicely organised but, you do need to keep your UL's up to date as much as possible, and good luck with next week's mega patch tuesday.

No problem, and i'll continue to make my speedy UL's for Win7 and future Windows OS's.

I get the download links from the MS download site. 1. Update KB976002 is not included because not everyone lives in the EU, and i have no plans to include the update anytime soon. 2. I used to include XP mode and VPC and it's updates in my list, but i decided to axe them as it has limited capabilities compared to other vm's. 3. While i do provide updates for .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 for Windows 7, currently i don't for other versions, but now that you've brought this up i will look to include .NET Framework 4 in the near future.

The UL's will be uploaded as soon as MS releases Service Pack 2 Beta!
