Updates for Windows XP x64 and x86 (Retired)
steven4554 replied to steven4554's topic in User Contributed Update Lists
KB2774195 works okay for me, make sure you are using my latest lists. fixiepropschema.exe - Download links are identical and working, so no change is required. KB2836946 has been superseded by KB2836946-v2, so this change will be in the next available lists on patch Tuesday. Unless it gets superseded! And lastly, KB2769166 has been moved back into the correct Non-Security section of the list. Thanks for letting me know about these things, it's appreciated -

Final ESU Updates for Windows 7 SP1 (Retired!)
steven4554 replied to steven4554's topic in User Contributed Update Lists
I have no plans to include this update, as it's really meant for XP x86 and x64. I used to have WUA in my lists, but I removed it when MS wouldn't provide the latest version in a executable file. Sadly, cause they are now provided in cab form, I now have no plans to include them! I already have those links in a txt file, for future versions of IE10.- 666 replies

Wow, nice one lwjohns. I still use this version, as I dislike the 2010 and 2013 versions of Office. -

The Updates that are being requested by WU have been superseded, with the exception of KB971033, KB976002, and latest WUA!! The rest of the UL is current and up to date, and thanks for the comparison- 666 replies

Final ESU Updates for Windows 7 SP1 (Retired!)
steven4554 replied to steven4554's topic in User Contributed Update Lists
I've removed KB2791765 from x86 list, cause it has been superseded by KB2820331! As for KB2647753-v4, i have changed my lists to that version which will in the next available lists, download directly from the update catalog site. I should point out, that even though MS has made a v4, the files inside are the same as v2. Yeah, i agree, MS is making alot of mistakes lately, and like you i'd wish they would release a second service pack for Win7, cause we need one, with the amount of post-sp1 updates now reaching past 500!- 666 replies

Various download files can't find the fixes on Msoft
steven4554 replied to mikesw's topic in Windows Updates Downloader
Thank you for spotting my mistakes and errors:) These issues will be addressed or fixed in the next available update lists posted to windowsupdatesdownloader.com. (Except for Windows 2000 and Vista, as I don't maintain those UL's!) As for the Timezone update for XP, it is up to date and already available in my XP list. -

I understand now, you use the tag: <filename>( Local Filename )</filename> I will try to make a French UL for 7sp1 (x64 and x86) Edit: I have opened your x64 UL and I have found 4 unneeded security updates: KB2525694 KB2503658 KB2476490 KB2524375 You can if you wish, but i must remind you that the updates in my lists for Win7 will work on any language version including french, cause they language neutral. But i guess you could add other stuff like i have in my lists that will only work on French systems.- 666 replies

Final ESU Updates for Windows 7 SP1 (Retired!)
steven4554 replied to steven4554's topic in User Contributed Update Lists
All updates and drivers from the catalog has the hash at the end of the file, it's normal. What i do with my lists, is remove the hash if the update is only available from the catalog and not from the download center. PS - This new update will be in the next UL's, unless it gets superseded!- 666 replies

1) I use notepad to edit my lists, and save them using UTF-8 formatting. 2) After downloading the updates from the update catalog, right click on the webpage and left click view source, that's where you'll find the direct download links.- 666 replies

Final ESU Updates for Windows 7 SP1 (Retired!)
steven4554 replied to steven4554's topic in User Contributed Update Lists
You can still use my update list, to download the updates in the "Security Updates and Non-Security Updates" as they are language independent, which means that those updates will work on any language version of Win7. Sadly, I don't make Office Update Lists anymore sorry.- 666 replies

It's an update for the Windows Management Framework 3.0, so if you have not installed Windows Management Framework 3.0 (KB2506143) and requires either .NET 4.0 or 4.5, then yes you can ignore it.- 666 replies
