我在內地. 也不是玩古董啦~我的電腦配置也算高的...只不過想用來玩古董遊戲... 你說需要一個聲卡？pcmcia的沒有見過.不過在淘寶上有售usb聲卡，大約30rmb左右..很便宜的.網卡我就不知道了。 好有關於qq，可以用qq2006，不過好像隻支持win98或以上(try a lot..)下載地址http://dl_dir.qq.com/qqfile/qq2006standardkb2.exe 因為qq從2006版本以後就不支持98了.所以只能用2006，但登陸卻有提示說版本太低~所以要懂一點手腳： 点一下登录框下面的“设置”，勾上“选择QQ登录服务器”的复选框，然后“设置您需要登录到的服务器的类型”下拉框选“TCP类型”，在“需要登录的服务器地址”下拉框选“tcpconn3.tencent.com”，然后登录就可以了，以后就不用这样麻烦了，跟平常那样登录就ok了。 如果tcpconn3不行，選擇tcpconn4. 我的msn是lym_0072003@live.cn,有空加我..qq：421109601 end

can 512mb video memory run under windows98?

that's 256mb. sure,ummmmm.now i have two systems in my pc.they are 98 and xp.i wanna play some good games on xp,like cod4,bf2...so i wanna upngrade my card(x850xt is not good and old enough).but i don't want to leave my 98.this is a hard decision... and x850xt supports dx9.0b,sm3.0 8600 supports dx10.0(sure,this is unimportant)it supports sm4.0

Because there are no drivers. Haha,the mdgx's nvidia driver supports 8~ sure,although mdgx didn't speak that the driver support 8 in the posts.you can go into his webside,the 8 is in the support-list.

You sure that 8 series doesn't support win98?why? Now the cards you can buy in the shops are most 8 series.it's hard to buy a 7.

Does pci-e card support windows98? if it do,i'll buy a nvidia 8600gt card.(of course,there's a modded driver for it) now i'm using ati x850xt agp.

ati x700 or 800gto is the best for win98.it is perfect to run on win98. i'm using 800gto,256mb,256bit~

i don't know what's the reason for setup faild.but i try setupping the dx2008 yesterday,it worked fine on my computer~ i didn't do anything about that(setup packs change files )

i've setuped windows98. and when i start the windows,after "the windows98 sky boot screen" the computer will restart.i can't do anything....btw,i can go into dos mode this is my computer's hard ware list: mother board:845epi memory:1.25g cpu:p4 2.8g graphic card:ati 9200 64mb the solutions?

yeah,the problem is that intel stoped support 865-newer chipset.so,there's no drivers for 915gm graphics card....
