nevermind ill just create a sfx with my shorcuts and have them go for the selected directories..

i made a few sfx's to be run when the programs being installed, they create in the correct area's exampe: server.exe [sfx cmd's] ;The comment below contains SFX script commands Path=[server]SavePathSilent=1Overwrite=2Shortcut=T, "C:\Program Files\[server]\abyssws.exe", "C:\Program Files\[server]\", "Abyss Web Server", "localhost"what im trying to do is add a shortcut , in the startup but it doesnt create one, is there an easier way , say like registry or something for all users..

i dunno if this one would help but adminpassword is suposed to be * not "*"

perhaps its been deleted then ive seen it on here.. /s i think but dunno never tried to mess with it, i know 1.5 can be dumped and just asks for cd key, i packaged mine and SFX'd it with winrar.

well it added the user and set the auto login, im just guessing theres an enabled proccess that shouldnt be there.

ok well , oddly i just have to get rid of that window, it now boots up as localhost, im guessing i have the ... welcome screen enabled.. which was never on... in the first place... bah lemme check. well i tried it, and well it hanged for about 20 mins so i hit the reset button , and then it loaded now this is what i get every time it tires to auto login anyways im going to load it again.. and see if it hangs .. EDIT: im putting a password in , since its autologin i dont have to type one in, so ill see how this works. and im just skiping the ntkrnl process and keeping with oemkrnl.

only trouble i have had with the code you have listed is when it boots it said wrong password then it showed the other users administrator/localhost (user i added) clicked on localhost and window loads. dunno what to say.

got the same thing with mine but only thing i had in cmdlines.txt was adding a user, i ended up reseting vpc and then it tried to load my user and said password was incorrrect or something when there was none

hmm... that could help. i think thats the error lol.. lemme test this now.. lol.. if it is .. im going to slap my self. EDIT: il have to find out in the morning im getting tired and waiting for it to install, ill let everyone one know whats up OFFTOPIC: i added a custom ntoskrnl.ex_ so the first boot wil show edited, looks great then fades to black then fades to boot screen with crappy colors.. after boot reverts to oemkrnl. havent tested oemkrnl if it does the same, but anyone have any idea's on the color change, i believe its all 16 bit color posted on the site thats being linked in here .. anyways ill be reading this in the morning

ive kinda been waiting for input before i do anything else, but i guess ill be waiting, im going to test the deletion of drivers.. any idea's with adding users? i dont think localhost would make a difference since i set localhost as all my logins with xp, since i can just $PROGS my server over and dump my webdir for a folder on the desktop and auto load sever settings n what not ... (once i get this working)

lol i just notice what your saying now, (yea im new to this but i am a fast learner ) since load.cmd is in the /install dir and its being deleted before the shutdown can complete.. oddly this didnt happen with my very first install. but it should help now. hopefully. now for the adduser/autologin. any help?
