i put it twice... because.... well i hwas hoping it would delete it if it was still there.. hoping it wasnt. (i can manually delete it thats not the real problem. also as you asked before it isnt closing before it gets to it, because it delete's the install dir just not the drivers dir.. after the suposidly reboot xp loads up.i i was thinking about chaning the order to something like this ECHO.ECHO. my first unattended windows went straight thru by admin, well i then wanted to add a few things after finding out what else i was able to do, ( lots might i add) but i started with programs , first, then with some customization, i dont rememeber editing the winnt.sif that much at all (computer name/res/guirunonceex and some things to not install games autoupdate etc) that would change anything but now it asks to create a user, so i went to the home page got the info on how to add user thru cmdlines.txt well i do all that add my user, i noticed that "mrjojo" had a problem with the password and went thru with what was listed to help, to add user with no password n what not. well now once i install, im still asked to add a user, even tho i added one, now another is deleting the install files after the file's have been installed : ECHO.ECHO Deleting Temp Installation Files...RD /S /Q %systemdrive%\installcorrect? works for me, but what if i wanna delete the folder C:/drivers? i should prolly change install dir to Drivers dir correct? i have this ECHO.ECHO Deleting Driver Installation Files...RD /S /Q %systemdrive%\Driverswell after everything installs and everything runs through, im left with C:\Drivers still listed and undeleted. no idea whats up.. i cant think of anything or why its happening, if you need any info just ask.

@bonedaddy i think the problem lies with zonealarm, when longhorn first came out for beta installed zone alarm and right when it loaded BSOD everywhere.. ended up having to reformat ... so who knows. also, a favorite program of mine, is ezywin ( for some who wanted to change the text in the start button it does this and changes/removes/adds custom menu's in the start button and changes boot screen and msgina.dll also .. i found out about them about before xp cameout used it on windows 2000 but does great with xp also)

im just wondering if anyone has made they're own logon thru any editor really, took the edit and then compiled it for cab to be default instead of just hex editing.. and what their outcome was ... im about to take a custom built logon screen using logon studio [ link ] by default i believe it saves it as logonuiX.exe, rename it to logonui.exe and cab't (anyone try it ? sucess fail ) or any other suggestions?

any reason for the whole empty space? atfirst was thinking my logonui.ex_ was messed up, but then i understood why he said scroll down, @orsi, why not just makecab logonui.exe and put it back in the i386 ? save the time and it'll be there just the same :B

actually it uses NSIS , i should of noticed from the begining.. lol. im new to this stuff so bare with me ... i gues sim wanting to configure it durring install, like the winamp 5.0.3a install. but seting the info up with like , trillian for irc and messanger service. and other stuff. EDIT: ok since its a NSIS installer, i should have something like ... ECHO.ECHO Installing Litestep 3.0.2ECHO Please wait...start /wait %systemdrive%\install\Applications\Litestep302.exe /sbut what happens when it comes to the evars window.. does it skip that? .. and when it finishes it asks for reboot. should i have it be the last program on the list so it wont mess with any instalation. or should i try to make this into a msi or something.. Edit2: id also love for it to be set for default shell instead of xp's .. so soon as this xp version installs , litestep will be runing and not xp's gui
