gosh, I love these tutorials! I followed each one carefully and it worked out great! Now I have a CD with: Windows XP Professional SP1a Windows XP Preinstallation Environment (made with PE-Builder) Windows 98 Boot Disk Offline NT Password and Registry Editor Right now, my CD is 493 MB with all of this stuff...I'll see what else fits!

Is there some kind of program that will look into all sub-folders in a folder, look for files, and move them (the files) to different folder?

OK...gosh, this menu of yours works great! I made a CD that installs XP, but also has a utility to change or blank passwords...It was mentioned on "The Screen Savers" on TechTV... Looks like it was my Uxtheme...I told it to replace the file, and to my surprise, when I restarted my computer, I had the Windows Classic style in my face! THE HORROR! Anywayz, I just reinstalled my hacked Uxtheme...All is well! gosh, your method of doing this works great! I tried this CD (ISO) in Virtual PC and it installed in about 20 minutes...Very sweet! In your guide on the previous page, your directory contains XPBOOT.BIN. I deleted this from the ISO and it still works fine... Also, when SP2 comes out, will I be able to slipstream it into this ISO? And one more thing, is it possible to add that SETUP.EXE and AUTORUN.INF files from the regular XP CD to this small one? Would it work the same way in GUI mode?

Wait, if I do this on a machine that already has Windows XP installed, will it wipe it out or what?

No, its because every once and a while when I turn on my computer, I get this "Windows File Protection" pop-up which really annoys me, and I have no idea what is, other than the "uxtheme.dll" that I replaced...

First of all, is it a good idea to turn Windows File Protection off? And second, how do you turn it off?

I think XCOPY is to copy entire directories (meaning folders) and COPY is to copy files...

Never tried using ActivePerl...I guess all of us Windows Webserver guys should switch to Linux for this! BTW, this is in the wrong section!

Have you tried using a Windows 98 boot disk to partition the drive? Then you can decide which partition to format...

Oh yea, I forgot to mention that this is on a Windows server...

OK, so I installed MySQL 4.0.15, and whenever I try setting a password for it, for example: username: gamehead password: rocks It keeps the default username and password: username: root password: (no password) I deleted the "my.ini" file and then when I reopen MySQL, it asks me for a new username and password, so I put in the first one above, but it still stays as root... Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
