Bad idea... You should get an old 4 or 5 gig PHYSICAL hard drive and use that instead in VMware... Partitions can get corrupt. This way, if you screw up this old drive, its only like $15 to replace one of these old ones!

I usually use HijackThis and Ad-Aware to solve all my problems... The other night, my dad had some spyware or adware and it took me about half an hour to an hour to fix...

It's always been set to "%SystemRoot%\Web\Wallpaper", but I can see the images in that folder, but not the one's in the "My Pictures" folder...

Text-based setup is only present when you boot from the CD... It will ask you to partition your drive and ask you where you want to install Windows... However, if you're doing everything unattended, then it shouldn't ask you and just do everything automatically.

Aaron, I think what he means is that he has an XP CD with a 180 day limit on it, and wants to slipstream SP2 but is having some problems...

Guys, about a few months ago, I realized that all my wallpapers in the "My Pictures" folder had disappeared from the Wallpaper list under the Desktop tab in the Display Properties. Can anyone give me some sort of reg hack or some instructions on how to get my wallpapers listed there again? Thanks in advance!

Do you have the firewall enabled? Check the permissions?

Download TweakUI... There should be a setting to show/hide your drives!
