Auto Arrange Desktop Icons Setting?
koden replied to cardguy1000's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
;Auto Arrange off, Align to Grid off: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags\1\Desktop] "FFlags"=dword:00000220 it doesn't work on my pc. The icons are still align to grid???? -
If I want to make a search in the registry post ind unattended windows, how do I do that? In the search view I can choose unattended windows, but that gives me a lot of things when i make a search. Is'nt it possible just to search in the registry thread???

Delete install folder after unattended install
koden replied to koden's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
okay...thanks But will I get problem when I ad new user accounts?? Am I right about, that they wont get the reg. tweaks then? -
Anyone have those?? 1. reg.tweak that sets the power function, so that the computer shuts down aut. and you don't have to push the shut down button. 2. tweak that disable the align the grid when you right click the desktop and choose arrange icons by.... 3. tweak that shows all folders. (if you after installation goes to ex. controlpanel you have to click on "show whats inside this folder". I have tryed search, but maybe my spelling is not good enough :-)

Can't load I386\NTKRNLMP.exe into memory
koden replied to appie's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
Same problem I have. I use a rw cdrom and install the unattended installation on my laptop. No problem, it works fine. But do I do it on my old compaq presario 4620 I get same message as you, and some others. Funny....don't understand anything. My RW cdrom is made on a 3 machine, that has nothing to do with the 2 others. -
If I burn my XPCD folder to my RW and after that install it on my Ibm thinkpad T40 it is working fine. Nice unattended installation. If I use same RW disk on my compag presario 4620 I get errors on different files in the i386 folder. I have tryed more than one time, and it is different files each time. Anyone who no why that can be???

anyone have this? Search did not find it.
-
No it's not worth to use all that time on it, if you only can use the CD on your own computer. But I help a lot of my friends with this CD. I have burned several to my friends, and they are wery happy about it. AND it have learn me a lot about XP and installation, and it looks like that it gives me a new job here in the future, because my company is going to change NT4 with XP. And someone have ask me about how I have done this XP unattended. So it all depends on what you are using the CD to. Buy the way....I have used all the many hours while I was at work :-)) Sorry for my spelling....danish...

Maybe because I havent delete the Q837009.exe ???? Is there other things I have to do with the latest july updates? I use svpack to install them. 4 with /Q /O /Z and one with /Q:A /R:N -
After I have put the 5 july updates in my installation it says that it can't install 9 files. I can click ESC to jump over this file and continue the inst. But why is it doing that???? ntprint.inf ntprint.dll ntshrui.dll ntvdm.exe ole32.dll nusrmgrw.chm oembios.bin ole2disp.dll openg132.dll

Hello... I have a lot of sites, where I log in with user and password. I click yes to remember password, så that I can log in aut. next time. This inf. is for most sites saved in a cookie. But on several sites it's not in a cookie??? If I delete all cookies I can still log in aut. to some sites. But all the other sites is forgotten (like this MSFN), as I expected. Where do this few sites hide/keep my login inf. ???
