Installation can't install 3 files

Recommended Posts

After I have put the 5 july updates in my installation it says that it can't install 9 files. I can click ESC to jump over this file and continue the inst.

But why is it doing that????

ntprint.inf

ntprint.dll

ntshrui.dll

ntvdm.exe

ole32.dll

nusrmgrw.chm

oembios.bin

ole2disp.dll

openg132.dll

Maybe because I havent delete the Q837009.exe ????

Is there other things I have to do with the latest july updates?

I use svpack to install them. 4 with /Q /O /Z and one with /Q:A /R:N

I have tryed a second time. Burn the RW cd again and installed.

This time itcan install some ogf the files that i could'nt before.

But it still cant install some ole dll's.

Ex. the ole32.dll is in my i386 folder, but the name of it is ole32.dl_

Could that be the problem?

3 time I tryed with a one time burning cdrom.

Same problem just some other files .. Grrrrrrr....s***...

I have tryed another pc. Still the same problem.

I took out the 5 new updates and it's still the same problem.

I took out the i386 folder and replaced it with one from an old CD which installation have been ok.

Still the same problem.

It looks like its stopping by the oembios file first

Okay now I have tryed an old CD I have burned for months ago.

It's working fine.

So something has gone wrong in my XPCD folder.

Don't no what.

I will copy the old CD's XPCD and use my svcpack, updates and sif file and see what happens.
