Hi .. Some years ago I have been doing this.. At that time it was making unattended XP installations. Today I would like to ask: If I would like to have a win7 image that I could install on different kind of hardware.... Image should contain all the standard programs I use. What would be the best way to create it? 1. making a unattended version as I did in XP 2. Use MS tool (WAIK?) to take a copy of a win 7 installation or is there a 3 way to do it?

No..difficult to say what the focus is... but i would say it was a easy exam.. I did not read very much and did pass anyway... 800 point.

If i Download something and click open to install online, the open button is'nt active and won't activate by clicking... I first have to click on the boks "file download" one or more times.. then the open button can be clicked.. ? The same if i open a PDF from my mail.. anyone seen that before? Hello I am about to take a course with an exam. It's MCTS 70-680 Read and remember is'nt what I do best. So i have do som practical to remember what I have been reading... So far so good... But is there some kind of a list, where all the tools in WIN 7 are listed with explanation of what they are to be used for? Or a list that takes the most important from the book on 900 pages.... A kind of summary or what ever... because sometimes the book just get me more confused than clever.. :-) Sorry for my bad english...hope you guys understand it...

I have this S12 and have put my 3G sim card in the slot. But I also need a modem I have found out. But what kind of modem do I need to the "modem slot" beside the sim card slot? Anyone knows that ?

I have an unattended XP and would like to make one for my office 2003. Is there a guide for this? I can't find it... In my XP the key was placed in winnt.sif Where do I place my office key?

at my work i use a program unicenter serviceplus servicedesk from CA. after i upgraded my explorer 6 to 7 and 8 i have problem using some shortkeys... I one window the edit tab should be activated by using ALT+d but it's not working. The funny thing is taht in the same window other alt+keys are working fine.... ? In explorer 6 there is no problems...

Thanks... as I can see Nlite is not surported or can I use the packets in nlite multi packet function? this packet: DriverPack Chipset DriverPack CPU DriverPack Graphics DriverPack LAN DriverPack MassStorage DriverPack Sound DriverPack WLAN Does that meen that if I have all this drivere in my unattended then I can install on most computers without downloading specific drivers from the manufacturs homepage... ?

When I run my unattended installation on laptops with sata, the installation stops in XP blue picture, because it can't see my SATA drive. I then go to bios and change a setting and it works... But can I put something in my unattended that can overrule this missing settings?? or is this just an old XP thing that can't be done anything about? :-))

When i save a document the default location in the save box is my documents... can I change this to a default location of my own choice?

Every time my pc has installed the aut. updates from MS it comes with this boks where I can choose to restart or not. How do I get rid of the boks, and not restart?

Thanks... i have used the gdisk now and it's okay... But I also have some people using it, that don't understand the dos commands and how to. So I would still preffer some kind of a window partiton program a'la the one ghost.exe gives me or the one partition magic haves...

OKAY... thanks.. So as there is a ghost.exe there must also be a "partition.exe" in my ghost 12 installation or is it not this you mean?

I use part244.exe and it's working...but no NTFS. I would prefer to use PM. I have installed PM 8 but can't see where i make the PM boot disks? Anyone who can guide me?

My unattended installation with SP3 and all the updates after SP3 gives me this error after installation: After installation i go to windows update. the first windows update says is that it use active X or something... I click OK. Then it ask for install the newest WU software. i click ok. that gives me the error: the webside have found a problem: code: 0X80070420 support.microsoft tells me that it's because the windows update service has stopped during installation. If i go to windows update again it works. 1.But why do i get this error every time my installation installs the first time? 2. How do i get the newest windows update service to be a part of my installation so that windows update is working first time it's used without installing or accepting anything? thanks... i use Win XP danish

okay...i just had to format the first partiton before going to 2.. But I started on 1 and the program aut. jump to 2 and make the first partion there ?? Only problem now is that ghost.exe no longer can see my USB 3,5" dsk where my ghost image is... But then i have to burn a disk with image or do you know why?

i have now used part244.exe... boot up on my USB key I make boot and get this blue window.. But maybe it's to advanced for me. I get this blue picture where I can se MBR as nr. 0 and then 1-7 unused space. 2 is not unused. This is my USB boot key ??? I had hoped to see my 10 GB harddsik somewhere....? AAAhhhh...press F5 to change and I can see my 10 GB disk where I have a 10 GB partition on nr. 2 of the 0-7. Why is the USB and the disk seen as nr. 2? What is no 1? Unused it says...but has this something to do with floppy drive is reserved as nr. 1? I delete the partion on 2. I press enter on 2 and make a fat32 8 GB partion. Works fine... I go to 3 and press enter...make a fat32 partion on 1,8 GB rest disk place... But it fails wih an error that says "boot sectors doesn't have valid information".
