Windows update error after install

Featured Replies

My unattended installation with SP3 and all the updates after SP3 gives me this error after installation:

After installation i go to windows update.

the first windows update says is that it use active X or something... I click OK.

Then it ask for install the newest WU software. i click ok.

that gives me the error: the webside have found a problem:

code: 0X80070420

support.microsoft tells me that it's because the windows update service has stopped during installation.

If i go to windows update again it works.

1.But why do i get this error every time my installation installs the first time?

2. How do i get the newest windows update service to be a part of my installation so that windows update is working first time it's used without installing or accepting anything?

thanks... i use Win XP danish
