I have the Settings.reg which is used to edit and import the settings of Winrar, however, it does not register File types such as rar or associate with ZIP. I think the associations are located in "HKEY_Classes_root" but am not sure. How can I get winrar to associate itself with all the file types in can except iso? Thanks.

oops, double post, sorry

I have tried importing my own info, the same problem. Seem it only work with GUI insertion.
-
How do you register? I checked the post made by a member in this topic, However, I tested it on my computer. I insert the info into Winamp gui, in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Nullsoft\Winamp, it gives me a hashed or weird "regkey" which is not my registration key I used. Now I export this, and reimport, winamp tells me it's a invalid key. What do I do to import my key?

If you don't want a password, just don't put a password in where they're supposed to be. -
Hotmail Terabyte Service to compete with Google GB
Chris Lee replied to expert01's topic in General Discussion
That's only a ratio made from a fact. It does not mean Hotmail is offering Terabyte service, it means they are buying storage space:rolleyes: -
Use the main Winamp official installer? Does not it popup itself after install?
-
Uh, is there like a switch to install ALL features on Winamp?

I've seen CD albums at 320 Bit rate..

Well, there's nothing wrong, I think..

A factory.exe is already in the System32 folder, netconfig, I see nothing, no files or folders. I only see a netcfg.exe in System32..

I did get it boot up, but do I have to change anything in txtsetup.sif? I find my ERD boots up, but it could not load any network settings. I did not strip anything off using scripts, every components is on there. It gives me an error with Factory.exe saying to check Winbom. I did not put WinPE on there, but I will take a look at what it is.

There's Itunes, but I do not know about getting a CD of it after you purchased some music, I do know that most music costs 99 cents. This is for people in US. If you're in Canada, there's puretracks.ca which still costs 99 cents canadian, the same thing, but for this CD, it has limits, like how much you can burn. I know puretracks use WMV format to restrict permissions. I do not know about Itunes.

I searched on Gosh's site, and Flyakite.msfnhosting.com, but the instructions weren't clear to me. I got it to boot up, but it couldn't load the Network components like it could on the original ERD Commander cd I made (the retail one). Can anyone step me through on this software? Thanks in advance.

Gosh's multiboot guide "Add XP Upgrade"?

Thanks for people trying to help but I have given up on it, it is not important to me. -
Gosh's multiboot guide "Add XP Upgrade"?
Chris Lee replied to Chris Lee's topic in Multi-Boot CD/DVDs
Hmm, I have thought of that before, but all I want is the upgrade part intact, and then maybe use half of the installation source from XP Pro, and the other half the upgrade scripts. If that don't work, I guess it won't, because Gosh's scripts make the whole cd boot up from DOS. I want to be able to select a option from DISKEMU.CMD which sends me directly to upgrade, but I really don't think there may be a way. If it doesn't have a way, is there freeware I can install like partition managers? I own a copy of Partition Magic, but in the guide it does not explain how to add it on. Maybe I'll use the space left to put applications on. -
Gosh's multiboot guide "Add XP Upgrade"?
Chris Lee replied to Chris Lee's topic in Multi-Boot CD/DVDs
Well, I guess theres no way then. I'll add something else. -
I am using gosh's multiboot guide on XP, and I still had alot of space to use up after my main os installation was on CD. I was wondering If I'd be able to put a selection in the boot emu file to upgrade the 9x up to XP, whatever XP edition I want to upgrade to. How can I make the files to let XP upgrade? Thanks if you have any information.

Thanks. all I had to do was change it from white to black and back to white, then I clicked apply.

Problem with unattended file again.PLZ!
Chris Lee replied to ectavares's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
If the serial number entered in Winnt.sif is wrong, it will prompt you again in installation. -
It's not BootFix you have to edit. I just put it behind Boot folder and it works. It should work for you.

you'll have to edit the WINNTBBU.DLL for setup backscreens. View Editing Background of Installation
