  1. I would like to know too if someone here knows.
  2. I tried that and it doesn't work. Why is that the case? It works for you, but not me?
  3. bump, has anyone here figured out a way to do it w/o an autoscript?
  4. Well how would you do it after I make my CD with xpcreate? The reason I ask this is because I'll get an ISO file as my output.
  5. Guys, I'm just curious, is there a way to use this with xpcreate? Thanks.
  6. lol this is a english forum buddy, but I'll give it a shot at translating it and hopefully some expert will correct me . I think he's asking which one is useful?
  7. Actually I want to set it to 5 minutes now. So after 5 minutes of inactivitiy, the screen will go into powersaving mode. Can you provide me the registry tweak for that? Thanks.
  8. How do you disable the screensaver and prevent the screen from going dark? Thanks.
  9. Instead of doing that with the Startup.cmd file, how do you make that work with the Cleanup.cmd file that runs after RunOnceEx.cmd launches it? This is how my Cleanup.cmd file looks like, but it doesn't work. The favourites and links folder will pop up after reboot. @echo off RD /S /Q "%systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Favorites\Links" RD /S /Q "%systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Favorites\Favorites" RD /S /Q %systemdrive%\Drivers del /f /q %systemdrive%\Cleanup.cmd
  10. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So if I copy and paste the following into my registry tweaks, the DPI will be set to 120? That's also what I'm looking for too...
  11. Nevermind, I got it figured out. Anyway here is just a general question about Workstation 5. I notice that my drivers aren't install correctly in Workstation 5 yet when I burn the ISO to a CDRW and install it, everything is okay. I also notice the wrong drivers are installed in a virtual environment. Is that normal? How do you guys get the correct drivers to install in the virtual environment? Thanks.
  12. Is it just me or that Windows Update is asking me to install KB873339? I don't see this update in the front page yet Windows is asking me to install it. Nevermind, I'm blind
  13. Everytime I create a virtual machine and follow the settings as recommended by MSFN, the windows installation doesn't detect a hard drive. As a result, I can't test out my ISO's. What is going on? What settings do I have to change in Workstation 5 to get the hard drive to be detected? Thanks.
  14. I want to remove the Links and Favourites folder from the Favourites tab. How do I limit the reboot to 20 seconds or less?
  15. I just want to get rid of the folders within the favourites tab. I don't like my favourites in the folder and I prefer it to jus be under the tab. What do I need to modify?
  16. Has anyone here managed to install the Logitech Setpoint 2.31 silently w/o the use of any scripts like that of Logitech's setpoint 2.22 for their bluetooth keyboards? Just wondering...thanks.
  17. This is how my RunOnceEx.cmd file @echo off SET KEY=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx REG ADD %KEY%\001 /VE /D "Removing Items" /f REG ADD %KEY%\001 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\cleanup.cmd" /f This is how my Cleanup.cmd file looks like: @echo off RD /S /Q "%systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Favorites\Links" RD /S /Q "%systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Favorites\Favorites" RD /S /Q %systemdrive%\Drivers del /f /q %systemdrive%\Cleanup.cmd The drivers within C:\ is deleted, but the favourites and links folder still appears. I think it actually does delete those folders, but maybe after a restart, Windows reinstall those folders? Is something missing? Am I not understanding this properly?
  18. To you it may not be hard, but to me it's like learning calculus. I've tried it again and again and I still can't get it to work. Yes it may be annoying to you, but if I don't bump it now, how am I going to get any answers?
