I went to download some newer flash update.. and it never fell through.. something wouldnt connect but now I get this ADOBE DLM pop up that i have to accept or cancel to continue when i open new pages i try to take a screenshot but it wont take one from that screen ------------ USER ACCOUNT CONTROL is the box it pops up in A program you started needs to continue To continue please press continue or cancel ADOBE DLM Adobe Corporations -------------- reads something similar to that i cant remember it all

that pop up like once every few hours... never got them before in firefox i use the kit from years ago that someone told me to get here the anti-malware with ccleaner, spybot and all that jazz and ran it all and stuff still comes up i did trendmicros housecall too and stuff still comes up but on there it identified two VUNDO things and i thought it cleaned/deleted/removed them but i dont know **** ive been here for 5 years already

well i just unistalled it and installed AVG.. but idk if that was the appropriate solution or what

and is there a way to make them go quicker? right now im doing AVG virus scan and its been going on for an hour and 50 mins and still is 189,000+ scanned objects.. granted i've had this computer since 2004.. i try to clear stuff up all the time..

ive had it for a while i got it here i think it was in some malware prevention package a moderator sent me to his site to get it. but now its saying my home edition is done, and it wants me to upgrade and i dont want to. and it wont go away, a red box pops up in the corner every day... i have to click on it, then exit out of the browser it opens.. (it wants me ot sign up for a registration key but i already did a few times and nothing is coming of it, i got the key.. then nothing to do with it..) is there any other free, quality program that i can use? or can someone help me w/ avast to get it working back to normal

*update, i tried to do some troubleshooting and searching for a new driver, but apparently i'm up to date, so it's not that. and currently in the process of upgrading to WMP 11.. not sure if it'll fix anything, but i guess it's good to be current.

everything has a slight lag throughout, the time is on par for any/everything that has one. but the audio playback is just scratchy/messed up and i dont know why that is. any ideas on what? i know if i burn some mp3s to a cd to play in my car everything works perfectly fine. i just have issues while im at the computer the past week or so. also when i plug in my headphones, its the same quality. however, headphones are plugged in through one of the speakers. suggestions to fix are helpful. thanks christopher

dont know if its posted about here or not but it'd be nice to get my computer back up to its normal speed(s). had it since 2004.
