i agree, IECore is really a pain in the a**. This is how microsoft works they make very heavy resources, and than blindly alot of applications depend on it. Thats why i like linux programs they dont depend on such resources, they are light, most of them support plugins, they are cross-platform. Its better to have lots of small aplications that only open when u need, than having some very bloated resources where all programs depend on. It really seems weird to me that winrar would require such a component IECore... hopefully there is a winrar replacement for linux, that doesnt depend on IECore

the online installer from .net 3.5 doesnt work.. i removed bits and event log, could this be the problem? but the error says something about a bad certificate?(i also removed OOBE,but wmp11 passed validation as i have legal license) is there anyway when 3.5 comes officially released that i can install it without the online installer?

do u really think iexplorer core will waste any ram? and are u sure u want to remove it? because alot of applications depend on it..

hello all. i have wmp and wmp 6.4 removed than i remove also some drivers and hardware support(most of them) i have addon k-lite mega codec pack which has wmp classic player.. when i run any sound file, mp3 or avi, i get a mpeg-1 codec missing. Now i keep all drivers and hardware support. when i run any sound file, mp3 or avi, it works... so does anyone know what driver or hardware support is responsible for this codec

ooh ok.. u have hidden it .. ok i have a few questions.. i am integrating k-lite codec pack, it is installing the wmp classic, however it cant play wmv(properly) and i have removed wmp and wmp 6.4. does this mean i need to keep wmp in the list? why are u slipstreaming? and not using an addon? i need this as addon so that i can keep the extensions to proper player?
