duh plug and play was not turned on..

whats the point of removing drivers? it doesnt slow down your operating system at all ...

nope its not the services... still cant install vmware tools mouse/svga drivers... no network connections... empty device manager

well ok nvm than... i just wanted my XP to be called Windows CJ geuss its not possible unless i do some registery tweaks. and it says windows xp

well it appears to be right, but the rest at setup and this computer shows all windows xp

net logon fixed it thanks. however i still cant open add hardware. and in device manager no hardware list.. and explorer crashes on scanning for scanners and cameras... last session... when i have in advanced components to remove the files *.htm it does not remove READMESP.HTM

is it possible to have like a dos screen with only text to install? will it increase installation time?

i want to give my xp installation a diffrent name, especially because of multiboot. i could change the name in boot.ini but since its nlited i would rather have Windows CJ instead of Windows XP

Hi all. When i try to install VMWare tools inside the VMWare system, network and svga drivers do not install. It tells me instructions on how to do this. Desktop properties->Settings->Advanced->Adapter->Properties this windows does not open... i probally removed some component that is requeried for this... here is the session below

the problem with windows is, they out to much crap in it. the basics of windows are cool. but as i say to much crap. windows alone is spyware.... its bad... what if we start an anti- put crap in os - campaign with the whole world...
