next time your system crashes you will see a blue screen. In this blue scree you will see a stop error with a description of the crash and why. Now the only way to get out of the blue screen will be to reboot. Write down that info when you get it and post it here. As far as the other errors your talking about, sure post away -Xperties

box fan......errrrr....sounds cool but wouldnt ever try it....anyways it all depends on how much you want to spend and how loud you can take the noise. Simply the best fan for a heat sink is a high performance Delta fan @ 6500RPM and higher, but be warned they are loud to some, personaly it doesnt bother me. Now the heatsink I would go with a full copper heatsink but again depends on the money you want to spend. At least get a copper core if you cant afford and whole copper heatsink. Also make sure you use the arctic Silver 3 compound and not the crap that comes with the heatsink. I didnt say system restore...........follow again and slowly 1. right click My computer icon 2. Choose properties 3. Choose the advance Tab 4. Click on "start up and recovery" Tab 5. Uncheck the "auto reboot" box -XPerties

ok lets do this first.......XP will reboot to avoid promblems so we want it to not reboot and by doing this it will tell you what the promblem is or at least point us in the right direction... right click my computer/properties/advance/start up and recovery/uncheck "auto reboot".....Im almost a 100% thats how to get to it, Im at work right now on a 2k OS. So anyways do that and then next time XP crashes youll see a stop error...write it down and let us know what it says -Xperties

You say you dont have your vid card installed, you must have one installed to see what your doing.....are you refering to the drivers? If so then your running the defualt XP driver XP in stalled 4. You say crash.....please explain in more detail, what do you consider and crash, what happened and when did it happen during install, Also make sure if you see and stop:error you write them down. Please desrcribe in detail everything i asked. -XPerties

well do you want help on this issue....? Then do the following, uninstall ROXIO and do a reg clean and see if that helps. Im willing to bet its that or the default drivers for your Vid card, try to upgrade the drivers to the latest Det drivers. -XPerties

Do you have Roxio CD Cretor installed? Do you have Soundblaster Sound card installed? What are the stop errors your seeing when blue screen appears? And are you using a geforce 2-3-4....tried any different Det Drivers? -XPerties

well what i did was follow the tutorial in swish on install a pre-loader, it seems to do fine for 56k so far. But try to go a little longer than the one in the tutorial....We just have to remeber our friends on 56k dialups, I wouldnt want those guys staying away due to IE locking up or crashing...I personally will be staying away from flash in general...just makes it easier..... all flash sig without a pre-loader must be off the board within 24 hours. If you install a pre-loader then you may have it up. If there not off the board I will remove them from your sigs. They are causeing way to many IE crashes being hosted by slow web spaces. Thank you -XPerties

yah XPER but what a pre-loader does is allows the page to load so you can read everything and not have to wait for the sig to load. It loads while your reading the replys. But we can trash that to.....only took me 4 hours to figure out how to add one on a sig...arrgggg -XPerties

Thank you piece of cake, thats what I was looking for. The promblem was everyone else responded with there dam flash sigs in the other thread and they didnt have a pre-loader installed. -XPerties
