  1. Wow, never realised so many people used it. There's FOUR of you! Sorry, couldn't resist. I love making fun of myself. BED TIME!!!!!!!
  2. There are a couple recommended as far as I know... still have to check which...

    Bug Fixes

****, I was going to request something.
  4. I may look at this on the weekend. In the meantime, can I get a mod to move this to the XPlode forum?
  5. The file not found messages have been discussed before. It says that when there aren't any files in certain folders. There should be nothing to worry about.

    SP2

Just copy off all the files from your original XP cd, integrate SP2 manually to that directory, and set that directory as the XPSOURCE within the XPCREATE ini. Works perfectly for me...
  7. *points at the "search" option at the top of the page*
  8. Just a note, I did something along these lines a long long time ago... the easiest way to find the type I and II hotfix differences is looking at the version information part of the resource section of the exe. Look at the file properties of them, and you'll figure out a way of differentiating.
  9. I could probably make if you wanted... couldn't be too hard to implement. Would more than likely be smaller, too

    XPCREATE & SP2

Then it was all for the better And FYI, I do know what it was.... I think...
  11. It's been online the whole time.. maybe your DNS needs purging or something? Try http://www.voidfx.com/xplode/ and see if that works.

    XPCREATE & SP2

I just integrate the SP's manually... You may or may not remember the trouble I had back when XPCREATE started.... if you do, you'd know why XPCREATE handles an XPsp2 source just fine.
  13. Can alanoll or someone move this to a more applicable forum? Done -- prathapml
  14. I did release a program to import registry files depending on the users. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...27&hl=regimport That should do you... Make sure you read the posts below, it will probably explain if things go wrong...
  15. Just a clarification, the "old" way where you use the -S:"path" commandline argument still works. Hence things such as XPCREATE should have no difficulty using this, as it still accepts the same commands.
  16. Athlon64 driver support is almost nonexistent. My gfx card and NIC drivers didn't work, amongst other things..
  17. There is little to no chance of me doing any work on XPlode within the next couple of months - I just don't have the time. Unfortunately you're just going to have to deal with it... Having to design 2 types of low-power embedded motherboards from scratch doesn't really leave much time for XPlode. Stupid satellites. If there is more than about 10 people that want this, I can go back and change it, so add a poll and see if people want it.
  18. I've tried with a net start workstation, didn't work and I didn't pursue it further... Feel free to try and tell us the result
  19. Thanks for the praise, good to know someone is happy with it! As for the share thing, if you open the command prompt during the GUI setup (Shift + F10), and try to access a share, it will say something like "The Workstation Service has not been started". Networking will be active, but accessing shares doesn't seem to be. Obviously, if someone knows how to get them working during GUI setup, enlighten us all, but as far as I know, it's not possible. I have a feeling you're going to be limited to first boot.
  20. Uhhh. This isn't the place. I'd imagine this will be deleted in the near future.
  21. "Change" directories ?
  22. I'd check that your files are being copied to the correct place, I'm inclined to believe the log output and say that the files aren't in the right place. For the final part, it can't delete files that are in use. So you can't delete XPlode that way.
  23. There is a reason why there is an application switches forum. *Tries to remember what it's used for*
  24. Now, going off the subject, you'd think that this is a post where I'm not angry or annoyed. Well, that's partly true, but only very slightly. I'm quite annoyed that people don't even do the most simple things. Here's what you do when you have a problem: Search the bloody forum first. Please, please, please search. Make a logfile. I see people complaining that things don't work, yet they don't even create a logfile to get the smallest clue as to why. XPlode.exe /log:"#SYSTEMDRIVE#\XPlode.log" READ the logfile. Go to the place where it's going wrong and look WHY. If it's a problem where an application isn't running properly, check the arguments. Certain people seem to have no problem at all using it, and there's no reason why it will work on some, but not others. It's almost ALWAYS user error. If these STILL don't answer your question, THEN post. When posting a problem, be as descriptive as is humanly possible, preferably zip up your XML and your logfile, and attach it to the post. Can I ask the "helpers", if a problem doesn't follow these, leave the post alone, and I'll put a note and close it. If people don't follow these, I will close your topics. If there is anyone who wishes to add anything, post below. Have a nice day!
  25. Make a logfile. Post it.
