  1. I changed the method for handling errors, so I possibly forgot to modify the registry plugin. I'll look into it, but for now, post it on the bugtracker so I have a single place to look at all the things I need to do.

    Xplode

Here's why you're lying: You don't follow instructions. Quite simple. Here's the technical reason as to why continue isn't activated: You didn't do what is needed to activate it. Again, quite simple really. Here's why your claim that even after doing what you're supposed to do, it's still deactivated: Javascript enables the continue button Javascript disables the continue button If javascript weren't working, then the continue button would be active at the start So don't tell us that you've read it, and the thing still has problems. Clearly you're full of it and are just being a troll. Leave.
  3. It's trying to read a key that doesn't exist. Remove the token="Jet" and it should work fine.
  4. Post the requests on the bugtracker.
  5. All of these can theoretically be done already, if you're willing to modify the javascript yourself. If you're unable to figure it out, post the suggestions on the bugtracker and I'll see what I can do.
  6. Good work on choosing WTL

    Trouble

    Closed.
  8. I am asking for the code of those screen and well in your xplode the code doesn't work and I can't see anything all I see "Xplode Installations". It is difficult to figure it out what code to use. It is better that you put more code of XML instead of screen image. It will not only help me may it will help new commer to the xplode. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I assure you, the screenshots I've taken are from the same XML's provided. I don't nkow why you see what you see, but all I can think of is that you're not running it correctly. extract xplode rename XPlode-SelectInstall.xml to XPlode.xml execute run_with_logging.cmd You can do exactly the same thing with any of the other XML's.
  9. Good to see I have some competition for once
  10. Well, I was going to be late for class, so I figured I'd better stop
  11. And try it you can, once you figure out how to enable continue. The answer is in the EULA.
  12. Indeed.
  13. Search the unattended forum?
  14. I know nobody cares about the EULA, and I don't care that nobody cares about them. It's there to protect me from incompetent fools. A certain individual screwed up their XPlode script, which apparently "rendered their computer useless". They felt a need to threaten with legal action, which could just as easily have been avoided by reading the documentation provided. As you can guess, this prompted some sort of EULA, as previous versions had none included within the archive. Proper, non-inline documentation was added, but as you no doubt know, nobody reads those either. Funnily enough, all this made me quite uncaring about what problems people might have - if they want to attempt to swindle money out of me for things that they didn't read, then I'm not going to go out of my way to help them. I know it's always the few that present a problem for the many, but it's how it happened. And I'm not going to assume that everyone's correct, because there is always going to be those few that are arrogant enough to think that litigation solves everything. As for the numbers, since the initial XPlode 4.0 release (Jan 30th), there has been just under 5500 downloads of XPlode 4.0, and 3000 downloads of XPlode 4.1. I currently have in my inbox: 17 expressions of interest for corporate versions 0 formal requests for corporate versions 584 problems with an inability to extract XPlode 0 thank you's 1 email from an amused person regarding the EULA. Apprently it's the funniest thing they've seen for ages. (Maybe they need to get out more? ) As far as I'm concerned, the top two were going to happen anyways - I didn't honestly think anyone was going to pay for it, but sometimes you get lucky. The next two I'm not terribly happy about. I know nobody reads EULA's, but really, is it too much to ask to read something? I have my "hardcore" users, and they're generally pretty good. Very few complaints, and usually willing to help out when I'm not around. They don't mind the EULA, so why should other people? Reading it once allows you to extract all subsequent versions, because the EULA will likely not change. Anyways, I can feel this turning into something more than what it should, so I think I'll stop now, before I start writing an essay on user behaviour.
  15. There's no built-in functionality within XPlode to change computer names. You're going to have to do some research in order to find out how to do it.
  16. Jeez... Mr. Impatient, aren't we? http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=38088 Read that topic.
  17. Well they're already included in the download, so I don't see why he's asking...
  18. .....huh?
  19. Task manager will report the current user as the owner of the process, not the token. If you try copying files, you'll find that the file permissions on the files end up being the ones of the token you use, so tokens do work. All I did was change the way I was using them. Can you paste the log entry of where it tries to execute it, including the token entries?
  20. I have no problems using it in whatever way people wish, as long as they abide by the license agreement. There's nothing saying that it's limited to windows installations - I have a display plugin that I use which creates a tray icon, and allows me to launch certain apps from the XML. This gets run whenever I start windows, so it's definitely not limited to installation. As for .NET framework, XPlode is completely independent of it. I find that .NET is slow and bulky, and while it may be quick and easy to code with, I feel that performance suffers. So XPlode is pure Win32 + WTL. The only external dependencies are IE within the XPlodeSelectInstall plugin, and GDI+ for Original and GFX installs.
  21. Figure out how to put text onto the clipboard using javascript. Add it to the javascript.js after it has generated the page. Paste in notepad.
  22. Figure out how to put the source into the clipboard after rendering, and paste it in notepad or something? I dunno really... (Modifying the javascript.js of course..)
  23. In the selection plugin, yes, everything is rendered by IE. In OriginalInstall and GFXInstall, the rendering is done manually. As a sidenote, you can get alpha to work in IE, but you need to use DX image transforms in the stylesheet. Kinda annoying, but it works.
  24. For what display plugin?

    Cant Continue

I told you to read it in an email. You said you couldn't find it I told you to read it again. You said you still couldn't find it, and that you'd read it 50 times. Sorry, but if you can't follow instructions, then I don't think you should be using this program.
